Chapter 11 - 'Daycare Attendant for a Day... or So'

The next day, Sun was tasked with trying to fill both his own role and the role his father was supposed to play.

And he did it... surprisingly well.

Sure, he would panic about the kids turning off the lights, but other than that he felt pretty good about taking care of kids like his father before him.

Well... he did feel comfortable for the most part... until something became apparent.

Remember Taiyoko Tentai from the last chapter?

Well, she still thought she and Sun would have something, so she continued drawing these pictures of herself and Sun together.

A date at a restaurant, dancing together, even getting married, you name it, Taiyoko would draw herself and Sun in that scenario.

Over time, Sun was slowly beginning to realize that Taiyoko didn't really listen to him when he said they could just be friends.

At the same time, Taiyoko's sister, Tsukita, was beginning to wonder why the kids were no longer allowed to see Moon.

Sun was, truly, not sure how he was supposed to be the daycare attendant when so many kids were so nosy about something this serious.

One day, while Sun was doing arts and crafts with Taiyoko and Tsukita, Tsukita asked him a very important question.

"Why aren't we allowed to see Moon anymore?"

Sun was silent for a few seconds before he sighed.

He explained that the reason they can't see Moon anymore is because of some weird glitch that someone injected into Moon that made him go crazy and want to kill people, and that if they turned the lights off they'd meet their bitter ends.

Taiyoko tried to console Sun, but Tsukita... oh, Tsukita...

...She was angry.

"Well that's not really fair to us, is it?!" she asked, infuriated by Sun's reasoning.

Sun responded with, "Well, I'm only making us abide by the rules to keep us safe," but Tsukita was having none of it. "Well if Moon's so dangerous, how about I turn the lights off?!" she asked angrily.

Sun and Taiyoko begged her not to do it, but she didn't listen. She went to the lightswitch, flipped the switch, thus turning the lights off...

...and after Sun screamed in pain...

"...Naughty, naughty little girl..."

...that's right...

...Tsukita brought forth Moon, disobeying Sun's command.
