A few years later, Sun was now at parts and services, ready to be upgraded to his new adult body.

He was a little nervous, as his childlike body was all he had ever known for the past few years.

Before the temporary shutdown put him and Moon to sleep for the operation, Sun asked, "What'll happen to mine and Moon's dad, who you know is Eclipse?"

The engineer about to shut him off said, "When we're done with your new body, Sun--or should I say 'Sundrop', Eclipse will be decommissioned..."

Sun was silent.

The engineer continued with, "...But we will allow you to say your final goodbyes to him before he's shut off for good."

Sun began to look a little saddened by this. "Why do Moon and I even have to replace him?..." he asked, pensively.

The engineer sighed as she then explained that the reason Sun and Moon were even created was not only to provide Eclipse with two sons to take care of when the daycare is closed, but also because Eclipse's programming was making him slowly lose touch with what little kids would become interested in, in addition to growing outdated.

And because Sun and Moon were younger by comparison, they would eventually replace Eclipse as the Daycare Attendant, since their programming was in line with what little kids were into, as well as being in-with-the-times.

If Sun had tear ducts he would've been crying at that point. "So all this time... Moon and I were just version-2s of Eclipse?" he asked, sounding like he was about to cry.

The engineer nodded her head. "Now... any last words before you and Moon's age-up?" she asked Sun.

Sun nodded his head before saying, "...I hope one day if I ever have a son of my own... that he'll become just as good of a daycare attendant as his grandfather before him..."

The last thing Sun saw while he still had the body of a child was a blurry view of the blueprints for his and Moon's new, aged-up body.

A week or so later, Sun woke up from his manually-operated slumber, and he felt taller.

He stood up, and indeed he was taller. He stood at about 7 feet tall now, and he even felt a little heavier too.

But it wasn't just his size that changed.

When he walked around parts and services, he stopped by a mirror that was in the rooms within parts and services; the room he happened to have been aged up in.

In the mirror, he saw that while his face remained intact, pure white eyes and everything, he no longer wore a sailor-type outfit. Instead, he wore a more jester or clown-like outfit like Eclipse. His pants were red with yellow stripes, matching his frills on both his waist and his neck.

He then tested to see if they changed his voice by any chance, and surely enough, they certainly did.

Whereas his voice was once that of a little boy's, with an animatronic filter, it was now this medium-pitched, quirky kids show host's voice.

"I'm... all grown up..." he said, astonished by what they turned him into.

It was then that an engineer walked in.

"What do you wish to do first: Present your new look to the kids, or say goodbye to Eclipse?" asked the engineer.

Sun looked over to the engineer, and he sighed.

"The last one," he said, pensively.
