Going grocery shopping

Karlie POV

So while the kids are at school, me and August decided to go grocery shopping. While we in the store,  August is fussing at me because I put a jar of pickles in the basket.

August:" Bae, we got enough pickles at home and you steady buying some more."

Karlie:" Babe please."

August:" Ok bae."

After we got finish shopping, I spotted a young girl sleeping on the concrete in front the store. After I helped August put the bags in the car, I went walked over there to her.

Me:" Excuse me miss, do you need help???"

????:" Yes ma'm. I'm homeless, my parents are on drugs, and I didn't want to be there anymore so I left. I been here for 5 months and nobody never noticed me."

Me:" Well throw all that stuff away right there and come with me. You now have a place to stay."

????:" Thank you sooooo much."

So me and the girl went walking back to the truck.  After we got in, we took off.

Me:" So tell me your name and age."

Laylay:" My name is Laylay and I'm 16 years old."

Me:" Ok. I'm Karlie and this is August. And yes we are celebrities."

Laylay:" OMG, I love y'all music. My favorite song by you is Your the one, and my favorite song by August is Downtown."

August/Me:" Thank you."

So we are on our way home, and once we got home we went put the groceries up and went cleaned up the guest room for Laylay. After that, I gave her a pair of my pajamas and clothes for the next day.

August:" Ima go get the kids, you just get dinner ready."

Me:" Ok baby."

So after August left, I got started on dinner. While I was cooking I started talking to Laylay.

Me:" So, do you like macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, and mashed potatoes."

Laylay:" Yes ma'am."

Me:" oh you could call me mom now."

Laylay:" Ok. Thanks a lot. I mean a lot for taking me in."

Me:" Thank you, so I'm go have a couple of questions to ask you."

Laylay:" Ok."

Me:" Are you a virgin."

Laylay:" No, I was raped by one of my mom drug friends."

Me:" wow ok, I'm sorry to hear that."

Laylay:" It's ok mom. When is dinner gonna be ready. I'm starving."

Me:" In a few. August and the kids should be here in a sec."

Laylay:" Ok."

August POV

I'm just getting the kids, so now we are on our way home.

Me:" Kids, I gotta tell y'all something."

Kids:" Ok."

Me:" After me and your mom was finished grocery shopping, we had found a girl sleeping on the sidewalk. So we stopped and went seen what was wrong with her. She told us her situation and it's bad. She was homeless and she need a place to stay at. So now she staying with us."

Rainbow:" So we got a big sister."

Me:" Yea babygirl."

Kids:" Yay we got a big sister.!!!"

Rainbow:" I can't wait to see her."

So we was just pulling up in the driveway. Once I stop, the kids hurry out the truck before me. Once I got out, I locked the doors then went inside.

Me:" Baby, it's smell good in here."

Karlie:" Hey baby, hey kids."

Kids:" Hey mommy."

Karlie:" Kids, I got someone for y'all to meet. Laylay come here. Laylay, these are our kids."

Laylay:" They are so pretty."

Rainbow:" Hi I'm Rainbow, I'm 9."

Melvin:" Hi I'm Melvin, I'm 3 fina be 4."

Anna:" Hi, I'm Anna and I'm 3."

Karlie:" And we have 2 twins girls on the way."

Laylay:" Awwww, what they names are going to be."

Karlie:" Heaven Faith Alsina & Naveah Hope Alsina."

Laylay:" Those are pretty names."

Karlie:" Thanks. So let's go to the dinner table and eat. Shall we."

I was the first one to the dinner table like always. Once everybody got to the table, we said Grace then we started eating.

Me:"  So Laylay, would you like a party for to meet our family and friends."

Laylay:" Yes. Cool, I never had a party before."

Me:" Well it's settled."

This is the best time ever. My beautiful family.
