The struggle is real

Laylay POV

I was walking down the street pushing Mega in his stroller until I seen my mom laying there on the ground looks like she fighting for her life. So I ran to her and tried to get her up. I called Mom and dad and they are on their way. Then I called the ambulance. Once mom and dad got here, the ambulance had arrived.

Me:" Please save my mom. Please!!!"

Ambulance people:" We are gonna try our best."

So I got Mega and put him in the truck and dad put his stroller in the back and we left. I was crying and Mega was just starting at me.

Mom:" Calm down sweetheart. Mega looks terrified."

Me:" I'm sorry, I'm go be fine. I hate seeing her like this. This time she gotta stop. She really needs to. I hate that Mega had to see her like this."

We had arrived to the hospital and we was in the waiting room. We was all waiting for the doctors.

Doctor:" Is this the family for Ms. Lisa Jones."

Me:" Yea."

Doctor:" She had OD on heroin. Good thing you found her in time. If you would've never found her, she would've been dead. But right now, she's up watching tv."

Me:" Can I go see her."

Doctor:" Sure."

So I grabbed Mega and we went to my mom room. I stop by the door and I didn't wanna go in.

Mom:" Go in baby girl, August and I will be in there with you."

Me:" Thanks."

So I knocked on the door and she said come in. So when I walked in, she looked at me and I looked at her.

Lisa:" Hi."

Me:" Hi."

Lisa:" How you been."

Me:" I've been fine."

Lisa:" That's great. Who's baby."

Me:" Mines."

Lisa:"Wow. I'm a grandma."

Me:" Yea."

Lisa:" Thanks for saving my life. If you wouldn't have found me, I would've been dead."

Me:" it's ok."

Lisa:" Who's those people are."

Me:" Those are the couple that found me and took me in as there own child and he is the father of Mega."

Lisa:" Say what na."

Me:" August is my baby father."

Lisa:" So your telling me that your baby father is a grown ass man???"

Me:" Yes ma'am."

Lisa:" Even though I wasn't around, I raised you right Laylay. I did everything for you. I had to do all type of things just to get money to feed you. And I told you about sex and pregnancies. Laylay."

Me:" Mom I'm sorry. What do you supposed for me to do?? I was homeless for God sakes. I was raped mother. I was addicted to sex because I was raped. When I first moved in with them, I starting having feelings for August, until one day we got caught up in the moment and had sex. We kept it on the low until I found out that I was pregnant."

Lisa:" I'm sorry baby girl. But answer this one question. Do You still have feelings for him??"

Me:" Ima be honest, but yes, I still have feelings for him, I'm in love with him. But I kept that inside of me for the longest because, they are a happy couple. So I tried to forget it by started dating."

Lisa:" Can y'all just leave me and my daughter here alone please."

Mom:" Sure. We can. It's nice meeting you. I hope you get better."

Lisa:" Its nice meeting you too."

Me:" Ima get a taxi to bring me and Mega home."

Mom:" Ok."

Karlie POV

Wow. I still can't believe that Laylay got feelings for August and she's in love with him. When she started talking about it, I felt mad and angry. So the whole time I was ignoring August the whole entire ride home.

August:" Karlie, I kno you here me talking to you."

Me:" Can we just get fucking home please."

August:" We go finish this when we get home."

Me:" Mhm whatever."

He continued driving until we got home.

August:" What the FUCK is your problem. What did I do to you."

Me:" Whats the problem, what's the problem. You really wanna know what's the fucking problem. You cheated on me with a 17 year old and on top of that, she is our adopted daughter August. And to hear her say that she still got feelings for you and that she is in love with you crushed me. I forgave y'all, but I can't forget."

After we were arguing, August walked past me, grabbed his keys and left. So I went upstairs took me a shower, and went to bed.

August POV

I was just pulling up in my driveway. I was coming from Chris house. Once I got out, I locked my doors and I went inside. The front door was unlocked already so I walked in and locked it. I knew somebody was in the kitchen because I heard a baby crying. When I walked in there, it was Laylay trying to fix Mega a bottle and trying to calm him down.

Me:" Hey, let me help you."

Laylay:" Sure."

So I grabbed Mega, and he got quiet.

Me:" He knows when his daddy getting him. Say daddy got that power."

I was holding him while Laylay was fixing the bottle. After she got done, she came and gave it to me. She fixed herself a sandwich and turned the t.v. on. I burped Mega then I put him to sleep.

Me:" Laylay, was everything in the hospital you said was true."

Laylay:" Yes, everything I said was true. I'm trying to get over the fact that I'm in love with you. But you and mom are a happy couple and I'm not trying to mess it up. So like I said I kept it in and that's when I started dating."

Me:" Wow. I can't believe this. This is so much. Mane."

Laylay:" I'm sorry."

Me:" Its ok."

So after she got finished eating, she took Mega and went upstairs. I went took me a shower then went to bed.
