Few words had been exchanged ever since they'd escaped from Camp Crystal Lake. The only words spoken were to make sure Y/n was doing well or as well as she could be. Fresh out of the green scenery, came a landscape filled with desolate plants and dusty sand that stretched upon miles.

Fredda gripped the steering wheel with frustration, the heat and Y/n's practically fatal injuries added to her bubbling stress. Rifling through her blonde hair, she groaned, surely things would cool down from here on out right?

Fredda's POV:

Y/n seemed fine for now but I couldn't take the chance of losing her again. I had to find some kinda help for her. Looking back on everything, it just seemed to happen so fast and now we're running away from stinking pigs.

Oh well, surely things should settle down from here on out...

And the car came to a slow, screeching halt, a halt that really couldn't be better timed.

Fredda: Okay Fredda, you can stay calm...calm...OH FOR FU-

Letting out some profanities to ease the boiling anger that traveled through my body, I realized I'd woken up my girl. She slowly opened her eyes, a yawn slipping from her mouth followed by a sharp yelp of pain. Writhing in pain, she clenched the seat behind her to hopefully ease at least some amount of pain.

Fredda: Y/n, you doing alright?~

She nodded but the following whimper told me otherwise. The oaf got out of the car, slipping into the backseat, much to my objections. She'd pat her shoulder, offering it up for Y/n to lean upon. Of course, Y/n being the kindest person ever, did the charity work for the woman.

After fiddling with the pedal for a bit, the car still hadn't started back up, which really only set in the creeping realization I was having. We were stuck in the middle of nowhere.

Y/n: (Did we run out of gas?)

Scooting into the backseat from the right door, I nodded in defeat. Y/n, despite having a bullet lodged inside her stomach, seemed to not be too affected by this. A smile so genuine formed on the corners of her mouth, and she began to giggle.

Y/n: (I didn't think I would my summer to turn out like this)

Never have I met someone so beautifully tender, as Y/n was. Nothing and no one compared...to her. Her laugh began to trail off and that sweet voice gradually came to a stop. I nudged her lightly, no response except some blood slowly trickling out of the corner of her mouth.

Fredda: Y/n? Hey, wake up!

I placed my ear onto her chest, and what returned was a faint heartbeat that was becoming quieter with each second. I could feel a chill run through my spine, a really rude awakening to the situation.

Fredda: Oh god...Jackie get out and push the car as fast as you can. Now!

Jackie quickly slipped out, circling to the rear of the SUV as I propped Y/n carefully onto my chest, trying to get any semblance of life from her.

Fredda: No, no, no...Please I can't lose you...Please...

I could feel the car jump forward, turning around I saw Jackie slamming all her weight into pushing this hunk of metal. If there's one thing I could give her, it was her monstrous strength. The car was moving at a decent pace but we surely wouldn't be able to find any help soon nor do I think Y/n can last long enough.
