A/N: Final chapter 😔✊

"Eri, we need to get going or we'll be late" Kota said, knocking on her Astronomy themed room.

"I'll be right there" Eri answered, looking down at her necklace one more time.

She closed up the small box she was holding, the butterfly clip Y/N gave her was tucked safely inside.

Eri put the box on her nightstand and walked to her bedroom door, opening it to see Kota. He was holding Y/N's old dog tags, that he never took off.

"Can't believe he's been gone, I wonder if he can see us now. What we're doing" Kota says, still looking down at the engraving in the tags.

"He can, I know he can. I can feel it, you know?" Eri responds.

"Yeah, I can too" Kota whispers, beginning to go down the hall and down the stairs.

Eri and Kota were both third years at UA now. They trained hard over the years, so they could one day live up to Y/N's expectations, which they realized how high they were.

"You two ready?" Aizawa asked. Kota and Eri both nodded and followed Aizawa out of the house, Luna following right behind them. It was dark outside, but the city was still alive.

As they walked towards Aizawa's car, Eri and Kota couldn't help but stare longingly at the impala that was covered in a tarp. How they wished Y/N would give them a drive just one more time, talking about the stars and Jupiter without a care.

They continued to Aizawa's car, both sitting in the back seat while Aizawa drove off. They looked out the car window, looking as the city went by.

There were memorials everywhere. Y/N's name was painted on walls. People chanted his name everyday. There was even a statue built, right where the war memorial was, the spot where he took his final breath.

"We're here" Aizawa informed, opening his car door. Eri and Kota both left the car as well, slowly making their way through the dark cemetery.

Like every night, people were all over the place, holding candles. It was a few minutes of silence that everyone collectively gave Y/N.

Eri and Kota dropped off some flowers at Ellie and Iroh's grave, who were both heartbroken when they found out about Y/N's death, and passed away a few months after.

They both kneeled down in front of Shiyuna and Jupiter's graves, paying their respects before moving on to Y/N's grave, which was right next to Jupiter's.

The two of them both found out what really happened to Jupiter when they moved into the house again, once Aizawa had bought it before strangers could. Y/N had a loose floorboard, which happened to be where he kept history documents.

Newspapers on the war, paintings and pictures of his family. Notes and journal entries that he wrote himself, and even small things he would tell Jupiter when he saw her again.

Bakugou walked over to Y/N's grave, he turned out to be one of the best pro heroes in history. He lit his own candle and stepped back a little, giving his silence.

Todoroki was standing next to his dad, holding his own candle, the same as Enji.

The entire class A was there, all of Y/N's old students as well. Citizens who Y/N never met before were there too, holding their own candles and bowing their head to give him silence as well.

This happened every night, respecting Y/N and his name. Kota and Eri both stood up once the time for silence was up.

"Eri and I came across something that Y/N wrote, and we wanted to share it with you. I think he wrote this for everyone" Kota said, holding out a piece of paper.

The citizens stood back, while everyone who knew Y/N personally stepped closer to hear better.

"I don't know what entery number this is, I lost count and didn't bother going back to double check. Also, if you're reading this and you're not me, what are you doing going through my stuff?🤨

Anyways, if you're reading this that means you either broke into my house or I wasn't around anymore to stop you. So, let me rant to you for a bit.

The meaning of life isn't just about going about your day the exact same way you did the day before. Because time, is something you can't get enough of. Some stupid kids in Class 1-A showed me that. Everytime you spend with someone you cherish, and the day ends, and you wish for time to rewind so you can spend the day with them all over again. That's how you know you're living your life to the fullest.

Life isn't waiting up for you. So, if you're reading this, and you're unsure about your purpose, or you feel like you've lost it all. Go find your new purpose, go find something or someone who could fill that spot of emptiness, I know I did. Life's too short to waste a second.

Signed, Y/N L/N'

Everyone could only shake their heads, but they all felt the same sharp pain they felt whenever they thought about Y/N.

Here Y/N was, still encouraging them to this day, always steps ahead of everyone else.

That's the kind of person Y/N was.

(Y/N pov, right after the battle ended)

I opened my eyes and stood up. I was in a place that looked like Heavens Clearing, flowers everywhere, same with the purple blossomed trees. I looked 25 again, but this time I didn't panic because of it.

"Y/N"

I looked forward and saw my mother, father, and Lily standing there with smiles on their faces. I rushed towards them, stopping in front of the three.

"You did so well, Y/N" mother said, pulling me into a hug. Lily wrapped her arms around me as well, dad joined the hug as well.

Was this real? I could only hope that it was. The three released me from the hug and stepped back a little. I could clearly see two more figures that were standing behind them.

Shiyuna, and my little Jupiter were there.

I ran, ran until I slid to the ground to engulf Jupiter into a hug, bringing Shiyuna down so I could hug her as well.

"Did, did I do enough?" I asked.

"More than enough" Shiyuna answered, crying into my shoulder.

"Did I do okay?" I asked again.

"You were the best" Jupiter replied, digging her face into my chest.

"Can, I finally stay with all of you?"

"Of course you can" my mother reassured.

"You can finally rest now"

I can finally rest now, the words I've wanted to hear for years upon years.

I looked down at Jupiter, who had a gleaming smile as tears ran down his face. I smiled back and hugged them again.

And finally, I was home.
