Luna, Jimin, Jungkook and Tae were on the way to meet with Kai and Bada, Luna felt nervous, she was happy to meet Bada but she wasn't used to going out with people she was not close, so the idea of Kai being there made her anxious. Somehow the drunk people in the streets, the loud chatting on streets mixed with the sound of traffic and the random buskers of Itaewon made her agonize and feel comforted at the same time, she didn't exactly liked to be there, but it was kinda comforting seeing people living life.
"Oh, there they are!", Jungkook pointed at the front of a bar. Bada and Kai standing face to face, looking at each other giggling, their bodies were quite close and Bada carried a big stuffed animal, Luna's heart started to turn on her chest, she bited her lips under the mask feeling all sort of bad emotions, she was too jealous.
"HAERIN-A!", Bada called her name running in her direction with smile and innocent eyes. "I got this for you!", she said holding the bear towards Luna. Luna looked at the bear. "Thanks", she grabbed the stuffed animal from Bada's hand and hold it close to her body smiling at the woman she loved so much. "Waa, after so many years I finally got to see you out of the award shows.", Kai said in a joke manner. Jimin and Kai were close and Kai always showed interest on getting close to Luna, but she always told she was too busy working when they called her to go out, she knew Kai was a good person but she wasn't interested and the way he acted so friendly made her feel uncomfortable sometimes. "Yeah", she said giggling trying not to be so weird, but Luna was kinda weird some days, so everyone just chuckled at her introvert attitude, Bada caressed her head for some miliseconds staring at her lovingly making her feel super shy. "What should we eat? I'm starving right now", Tae said with his hands on his belly. "Bada is craving hotteok", Kai said smiling at Bada making Luna frown lightly. "Oh! Noona also wanted hotteok", Jungkook's big eyes staring at the girls. "Should we go together?", Bada asked smiling softly and giving her hand for Luna to hold. "Yes", Luna hold her hand smiling all happy. "Cuties", Jimin murmured in little giggle. "We'll message you the restaurant so we can meet there, okay?!", Kai said smiling oblivious.
Bada and Luna went on their way to hotteok, holding hands and clinging on each other through the alleys of Hongdae. "There", Luna said when she found an vending of hotteok.
"I was kinda sad, I thought you wouldn't come", Bada said turning to Luna as they were waiting in line. She gently tucked Luna's bangs behind her ears, wanting to admire her beautiful eyes in that lighting. "I wasn't coming, but I remembered I kinda like to observe people here, although it's loud and crowded It's still quite cozy.", Luna hugged Bada from the waist, leaning her chin on Bada's chest, her cat eyes staring lovingly at her friend. Bada always felt mesmerized by Luna's ways and as generic as it sounds, appearance. She was too pretty and cute around her and always made her nervous and although she tried to hide sometimes it was impossible, she smiled so constantly and widly around Luna that her cheeks started to hurt. "It's good to see you going out, I'm proud of you. You might even get inspired and write a song about this night". "I probaly will...", Luna said as she admired Bada's eyes smile, she just wanted to look at her face until she could memorize every feauture.
The table was full of laughter, as the hours went by and the alcohol made it's magic Luna started to felt comfortable to be more like herself in Kai's presence. Bada observed Luna by her side, her cheeks were red because of the wine she chose to drink, her lips were even more red than the usual, the dark greenish tone that Luna's eyes had because of a genetic phenomenon popped even more on that lightning, Bada understood well why this was one of the big reasons why Luna's beauty was so admired, she never failed to be completely hypnotized by her eyes. Luna smiled happily listening to what Kai was saying.
"Really! I thought she hated me, I asked myself why did you gave me such a sullen look, even though you're known for being really quiet and cool I was so worried", Kai said laughing and gesturing a lot as he remembered the day he met Luna for the first time in the backstage of a award show. "She's like that with eveyone, when she feels comfortable gets better but she'll still judge you a lot", Jungkook said laughing. "She acted like that around me for the first two years after we met, we lived in the same house but she acted like I was a complet stranger", Tae complemented laughing. Luna laughed together with the boys as she tried to defend herself, but she also thought the situation was funny.
Bada was happy to realized one more time that Luna felt comfortable to be herself around her since day one. "Ahh, as expected she likes me more than all of you, she never acted like that around me, we clicked instantly you know", Bada bragged at the boys with a playfull tone in her voice. "Right?! We were meant to be together", Luna said also in a playfull tone. "Ya, you're basically soulmates at this point", Tae said smiling at them as he took a sip of his soju. He knew. "They don't even fight, like how? Me and Tae used to fight all the time but you were never like that", Jimin said with a cute confused expression. "We don't have any reason to fight, like, what we are going to fight about?", Luna chuckled asking Bada. "Why are you dancing with another person? Do you have a new dance partner?", Bada asked pretending to be mad but then laughing with Luna on the same second she ended the phrase. "It's because you find each other too precious", Kai said. "This kind of friendship is the best you know, there's no unsolved feelings or guilty building up because of previous fights. I think this friendship has a long way ahead, you two are really careful with each other because you understand each others preciousness, It's really cut..", he tried to end his phrase but got cut by Jimin. "Okaaay, I think it's time for us to go home, our Kai it's getting too emotional", Jimin said in a dad voice tone as he took the soju cup out of Kai's hands making everyone giggle together and Kai lay his head down laughing in embarassment.
Luna felt Bada touch her hand under the table, they intertwined they fingers while looking at eachother with reassuring smiles, both of them knew everything Kai just said was true, they were so carefull and loving with each other because they understood each others preciousness and valued each others presence in their lives.
