(After George returned from school a few hours later)

Krovlenka's Pov.

"Alright, are you ready?" As George completes donning his shoes, I ask. He was fastening the shoelaces on his Converse while seated on the first step. "Yeah, yeah, hold your horses. Besides, I... um, we?" He gave me a fleeting glance as if he were examining me, before looking down and resuming his shoelace-tying.

"Up until my parents return from my Grandma's in New York, we are going to have the entire house to ourselves. They would have understood that leaving me alone for a month was not a good choice even if they were clueless about any other alternatives. There would be no rules for me to follow without them here. By the way, I appreciate you giving me a reason to leave the house as well, especially at this hour." stated George.

Upon hearing that, I felt my ears slightly droop, although, I did blush a little. "Oh... you're welcome, George." While removing my hair from my face, I spoke. "Alright, come on, let's get going." Putting on his Varsity jacket, George said. He paused, however, and gave me a quick once-over. "What's wrong?" I ask, not knowing what the problem is. I don't know what else I am missing because I had shoes and pants on, albeit sweatpants. He asks me, "Ehem, your disguise."

"Disguise?" I rephrase the question while confusedly scratching my head. George gives me a bewildered look before slapping his cheek. He makes himself more evident by exclaiming, "Your human disguise!" It now occurs to me what he was getting at. "Oh, you're right! Give me a second."

Monsterines had a wide range of strange talents, including being able to enter dreams, possessing superhuman strength and speed, and, unsurprisingly, the ability to change their physical form. When the black vapor that had been surrounding me scattered, I was revealed to be a human girl wearing black makeup and lipstick. "Better?" With my hands on my hips and a quick pirouette, I ask George while trying to cover my desire to wow him with the proportions of my previous body. However, I ended up making my hair short since I didn't want to lug around my long hair. I noticed that when I glanced in the mirror, I resembled a gothic Cyndi Lauper. I even made some silly faces when I glanced at myself in the mirror.

While George was silent, he was probably undressing me with his eyes

While George was silent, he was probably undressing me with his eyes. "See something you like?" I jokingly quip to tease him. He was silent. "George? Hello? Earth to George?" I repeatedly snapped my fingers.

That finally brought him to his senses. "Huh? Oh, I'm sorry, I just got distracted for a second." George muttered, trying to cover his face while attempting to avert his eyes. It was safe to assume that he was blushing and was trying his best to hide it. "Aw, George, it's okay to look! It's not a crime to look!" I reassured the human who was blushing while also stroking his hair with my fingers as I smiled.

"I wasn't looking, not at all. Not. Once. Was. I. Looking," he went on, continuing to turn his head away and stopping me from seeing his face. I had no real reason to think otherwise. If he was agitated, I didn't care; I, myself, wasn't bothered by it in the slightest.
