"Perfect Jennie you killed it" everyone appreciated me and clapped their hands as I bowed to them smiling in response
I just got finished with my photoshoot and schedule for the day Then I get a call from Jungkook
"Hey" I said answering the call and putting it on speaker as I am removing my makeup from the photoshoot
"Hi Jen, are you still working" he said from the other side "Just got done with the work and was about to head back to home, Everything alright ?"
"Yeah everything's fine Mom forgot to tell you in the morning But we got an invitation from your family" he said Ugh, now what are they upto The day was going perfectly fine...but now
"What sort of invitation ?" I interrogated "It's something related to the opening of Jung Enterprise's new branch, You didn't knew ?" He said
"Nope, they don't tell me shit" I confessed honestly I have always been excluded from any type of family conversation And now that I am married and don't live with my parents, they didn't even bother to give me call Not like I was expecting it from them
"Ohh" he said "By the way Where do we have to go ? and when ? and is it really necessary for me to attend ?" I said adding in the last part as I really don't want to go and meet those people
"We have to leave at 8:00pm, when you come home we'll all go together and yes I am preety sure that you will have to come You know there will be media and other people soo..." Ofcourse the media play No matter how they are with me in real life We have to pretend to be a happy family with completely no issues in public
"Fineee...I will be back home in some time" I say tossing my makeup wipe in the bin "Ok bye see you" "Bye" I say and cut the call
After removing my makeup, I remove the accessories I was wearing for the shoot and change back to my clothes I take my purse and throw all my stuff in
"Alice I have to go now" I tell my manager "Won't you get dinner with me" she said, because that's what we usually do "I really want to But I am afraid I won't be able to There is some type of important family party I have to attend" I say making a sad pought As she knows how much I hate to attend these "It's alright Jennie, we will get dinner next time I will call the driver for you" she said in response as I nodded
After that I get in the elevator Getting out of the building I see the driver waiting for me outside I get in the car and reach after a short drive
Entering inside I see Jungkook in the living room standing while facing the other side, he seems to be on a call with someone "Bye, love you too" he said on the call Then he placed the phone in his pocket When he turned around I was standing their with a teasing look on my face "Someone was talking to Lisa I guess" I said as he shyly smiles
"Where's your brother ?" I ask as 8 noticed his car wasn't their outside "Most probably at office, he will come back in some time, You should go and get ready because Taehyung will get ready in no time and then you will be in rush" he said and I agree to him as I don't even know what I am going to wear
Opening the door to my closet I start deciding between different outfits on what to wear Then my eyes land on a beautiful cardigan dress I wear it and put a belt around the dress I go with a simple makeup look For photoshoot my hair were styled to be nice and voluminous which go with my dress perfectly so I am keeping them this way Then I grab one of my favorite Chanel purse, and wear black heels which go with it perfectly

Being satisfied with my look I walk out of the closet to find Taehyung there
"Oh your back" "Hmm" that's all he said as he seems too indulged in his phone How rude He can atleast look at me if not complement me
"When are we leaving ?" I asked him "Now" he said then finally looked up from his phone to look at me
"Oh ok, then I'm going downstairs to mom" I said as I was about to move out of the room "They already left You will be going with me" he said standing up and grabbing his car keys Then he leaves the room as I follow him
He gets inside the car as I sit on the passenger seat Even though the car drive was silent But something unexpected happened
I got really surprised as he placed his free hand on my bare thigh While his other hand was on the steering wheel My breath hitched as I tried to move back in my seat
I looked at him His eyes were on the road Like he is completely unaware of what he is doing to me inside Oh God....this is going to be a long drive

I enter inside the party hall, with Jennie by my side As my arm is wrapped around her waist All eyes fall on us As we walk through the crowd
We walk to where Jennie's parents are "Oh Taehyung dear how have you been" Jennie's dad said putting his hand forward, how fake they can be as he didn't even bother to look at his own daughter who is standing beside me
"I'm good Mr Jung Hope you are well too and congratulations on your new branch" I say excepting his hand shake "Thanks" he responded
"Hope that Jennie hasn't been bothering you too much She can be an idiot and too much to handle sometimes" Mrs Jung speaks giving Jennie a stare I looked at Jennie who just stood there quietly
"No she hasn't And I would be glad if from the next time you wouldn't use such words for my wife"
Their faces fell Like an earthquake just came and swept their business away Then my eyes travel to Jennie Only to find her already looking at me As she didn't expect me to say that But the tiny smile on her face didn't go unnoticed by me
"Ye-yeah ofcourse I'll keep that in mind" Mrs Jung said quickly getting back in her sense I only hummed in response and then walked from there while pulling Jennie along with me
Jennie spotted Rosè, Jimin was also there The girls were talking as I got a drink with Jimin Then I get a phone call and excuse myself
When I return back from my call I saw Jennie talking to another male Who seems to be around my age They were laughing while chatting During their conversation that guy placed an arm around her shoulders
My fists clenched looking at the scene ahead of me Who is he ? And how does he know Jennie ? And how the hell did she just allow him to touch her ?
I walk to where they are standing Jennie notices my presence "Oh Taehyung your back" "Hmm" I respond looking at the arm still around her shoulder
