The scientist woke me up today. At least I got a good sleep. She told me about this second test and how she would either have to swallow me herself, or find another human as a part of the test. I opted for the former, given I already felt I could trust this woman.
"You really ready for this?" She asked as she dangled me above her face. I only nodded. At this point, I was in it for the science, too. I wanted to know if I was resistant to the acid as well. It would mean I'd have nothing to fear.
"Alright, well, squirm if it starts dissolving you."
She opened her mouth. Strings of saliva went from the roof of the fleshy cavern down to her tongue. She slowly and gently lowered me down into her mouth. She seemed to swish me around for a while.
She kept playing with me on her tongue. She pressed me into the inside of her cheek, against the roof of her mouth, and kept teasing me just over the edge of her throat. Then, when she was ready...
Gulp!
I was sent down her long esophagus. I could feel it squeezing around me. I naturally struggled on instinct. She giggled outside of my prison. She... liked me being in here?
Then I landed in her stomach. It seemed she hadn't eaten for a little while, as it was quite empty, as well as noisy. I sat there as the walls pulsed and churned around me, attempting to digest me. But there was no stinging.
Accompanied by the gurgles and groans, I lay there for at least five minutes, before she spoke again. "Alright, assuming everything went according to plan, you should be okay in there. Right?"
I moved around again to get her attention. "Good." She then swallowed some kind of rope to let me out. My eyes had already adjusted to the dark, so seeing the rope wasn't a challenge. I grabbed on.
I was pulled back up her tight throat. It seemed to want to swallow me back down, but she fought it and and released me. I was pulled back out of her mouth and through her lips, and was then sitting in her hand with her looking down at me.
"See? I told you it'd be fine. Turns out, you're resistant to the acid! That means you'll be fine if anything or anyone eats you here. Now, if you want, you can go out into the world again, or you could stay here. What'll it be?"
I listened to her speak, and then I carefully selected the latter. It was safer here. She was safer. She seems to actually care about me.
The weird thing is... how did she never notice the device...?
