The three of us got to the palace, and Leo accompanied me to go see Marti. My mom went with my dad who was with the twins and the Daimyo.
"The little people, not our twins Tyler and Riley."
I walked into the room where Martin was stressing, Tyler was trying his best to calm him down but Riley was equally countering his efforts.
"It's not like it's your first time fighting Kane, you won the first time," Tyler said
"I barely made it out with my head still attached to my shoulders the last time, now they probably have some kind of voodoo trick on the Dome again," Martin said.
"You still beat him last time you'll do it again," Tyler said
"Barely made it out with our head attached to your neck." Riley corrected him.
"But Martin is probably right. In the past, our opponents have used cheating tactics, and even with the precautions we are taking now what's stopping them from doing it again," Riley stated.
"Oh come on Riley stop scaring the poor guy," I interrupted,
"I almost thought you weren't going to show," Tyler said smiling.
" You think I'd miss my only brother eating shi- eat- up, this fight," I laughed nervously remembering Uncle Leo was still standing next to me.
"Hey if out of all of us you've won the Nexus, twice. Then you can win one challenge against a warrior that you've already beaten before." I put my hand on his shoulder, and Tyler's hand was on the other and we all started to walk him to the door where he would meet Kane.
Riley was about to say something but Tyler shot him a look and he stopped and walked with us while Uncle Leo laughed at the glare Tyler had shot at Riley.
We left Martin there and we joined my parents on the balcony with the daimyo and his family.
"How's Uncle Mikey doing?" Dad asked.
"Better the healer said he'll wake up by morning, he just needs to rest." Uncle Leo responded.
"I thought that you weren't going to leave his side?" Riley asked me.
"Yeah but I figured I should be here since it's not every day I get to watch my brother in a rematch, And Uncle Raph said he would stay in the pavilion with Mikey," I said
"You convinced me, my father. The hot head and the wrestling fan? To stay back to watch an injured man sleep instead of watching his nephew get pummeled?" Tyler asked amazingly.
"Your cousin isn't going to get pummeled Tyler," my dad said.
"Suffer from major bold injury, sure, maybe get his weapon broken, most likely. " Riley added, my dad raised his brow at them both,
"Sorry Uncle Don" Tyler said sheepishly, I giggled and my Mom turned to give me the same look. I just covered my mouth hoping to cover the sound.
I decided to sit next to Riley so we were both next to Ember and Ezra. I would have to sit next to my parents when the match starts.
I turned to the twins and they giggled and snickered at the jokes I had told. We both couldn't help but smile at them.
