Chapter 8 The Twins Again

"Since you did not suggest in your challenge this family will have our victory one way or another."

"Kill the warrior Michelangelo and this time don't come back until you have his head."

Nora's POV

I decided to take a walk by myself.

I skipped out on the ceremony, don't get me wrong, I was of course happy for my brother but I just don't like sticking around for those kinds of things.

Note: Nora never attends any kind of ceremony or anything like that she didn't even want to go to graduation, the only thing she will show up for is things for her friends if she's invited or nighttime festivals. Riley and her usually skip out on those kinds of things.

She wouldn't show up for Battle Nexus stuff if the person had won it before she had already been with Martin when he won. Actually, Martin's final challenge was against Tyler that's when he won

I walked to the hall of past champions. I wondered if I could talk to any of my ancestors. I figured it would be cool to meet my grandfather but how would that turn out?

My thoughts were interrupted by my brothers

"There you are, I was about to start worrying you headed home without us." Martin joked.

"Yeah sorry I didn't stick around, how'd it go?"

"You never do," Tyler said

"Reminiscing are we?" Martin said. "No just curious, Mikey doesn't tell us a lot about his Master, we all know the story of Yoshi, but not much about Splinter."

"If I'm being perfectly honest I don't have any memory of him at all if our parents hadn't told us about him I probably wouldn't know he existed." Tyler chimed in

"I have one memory of him but I can't remember what he looked like. The only way I know his face is because of the picture Master Leonardo has. All I remember was him caring for me and handing me to my mom." I said

We were interrupted by Ember and Ezra running trying to get my attention. Ember was holding a small sack with twins tied around it.

I crouched down and scooped up Ezra as he was running past us, "Woah woah hold on, where do you think you two are going? You're not supposed to leave your mothers-"

"We know but we heard Claw talking to the assassin that we saw last night and he said this was the thing to help Hamato Michelangelo," Ezra said, pointing to the bag Ember was holding.

"We stole it from them but they saw us so were trying to get to the healer's pavilion," Ember said.

I turned my head to look at my brothers, "Well what are we waiting for," Martin said.

Riley knelt and let Ember climb on his back, I held Ezra bridle style.

Ember gave the bag to Tyler to run to the pavilion with Martin bolting behind him.

(Tyler is the fastest out of all four of us he's the youngest member of the track team at our school. Martin can catch up to Tyler but not for very long. In order from fastest to slowest are Tyler, Martin, Riley, and Nora)

Me and Riley were a lot slower than both of them even more so now that were carrying the twins. I could hear Claw's soldiers running at us. We both ran in opposite directions. I hid in an alleyway and they immediately followed Riley.

I snapped my bow in half and gave it to Ezra, Ember is usually the twin to be brave and jump into battle head first so it took some encouragement.

"Ok I need you to run as fast as you can to find my parents or Hamato Leonardo, tell them they have to go to the healer's pavilion quickly," I whispered to him.

"But what if they follow me?" he said

"They won't they know you don't have the bag if anyone gives you trouble use my blade, people will help you if you ask for it." I looked around seeing if there was anyone around.

"I'm going to go help your sister and my cousin ok, I need you to be brave and get to my family. If you think you can't then I will find a place for you to hide and I'll send my uncle for you."

"I'll go," he said, I knew he didn't want to but he had worked up enough courage to start running in the direction of the palace.

I ran to go and help Riley, who was in a short amount of time severely outnumbered.
