chapter 49

I roll my eyes, covering my face in embarrassment as meredith dances infront of me. We're at the cinema, watching stupid taylor swifts new stupid movie.

Okay, actually... I love taylor swift, I have to admit.. I just don't love girls screaming her music in my ear.

"Come on, dance with me" she grabs my hands. "No" I laugh. "I know you love her too, just come on!" She grins. I stand up. She holds my hand as we dance to the music.

I smile as lover starts playing and she immediately moves into my arms. "If you tell anyone about this-" I look down at her. "Then what?" She asks. "Nothing, I don't care" I sigh. She grins.

I lean down and kiss her, obviously taking her by surprise. She soon kisses me back. She puts her hands on my cheeks. We're on the back row in the corner, so nobody is watching us.

I pull away slowly. She continues dancing. I sit back down. I smile, watching her. She is adorable. She was so excited to see this movie but all of her friends said no to going with her, so I offered.

She got all dressed up in her sparkly dress and fluffy coat, with her friendship bracelets and cowboy boots. She looks gorgeous and.. colourful. She made me dress up too. I was not happy about it.

She leans down and kisses me, gently grabbing my shirt in her fist. I put my hands on her cheeks and kiss her back.

She pulls away slowly and sits next to me. "Thank you for coming with me, derek" she puts her hand on my cheek.

"Of course! I know how excited you were to see it and I'm sorry your friends didn't want to come.. they probably would've been much better company" I chuckle softly.

"Definitely not" she smiles. "No?" I ask. She shakes her head. "You're the best company" she entwines our fingers. I smile brightly.

"Can I sit on your lap?" She whispers. "Of course you can, come here" I pat my lap. She sits sideways on it, with her feet up on the chair beside me.

She leans in slowly. I close the space between us and kiss her. I think the song that is on is one of the songs that meredith once said she'd want to have sex during. I found that really really hot.

She pulls away quickly when I run my hand up to her ass and grab it. "I'm sorry" I pull my hand away. "No, it's okay" she smiles. "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable" I say. "You didn't" she says.

"Sorry baby" I say. "You didn't make me uncomfortable, you just suprised me" she smiles, kissing me again. She grabs my hand and puts it back on her ass. I smile against her lips.

The movie ends and we walk out hand in hand. We go outside and my mom is already here to pick us up. My car is getting fixed at the moment so I couldn't drive us.

"Did you actually end up watching any of the movie?" My mom chuckles, wiping my lips with a tissue. "Huh?" I ask, confused.

"I'm sorry derek" meredith leans forwards and wipes it for me. She's sat in the back next to Amy, who's asleep in her carseat. I figured she'd rather sit next to her than my mom.

She wipes my lips with her thumb. "My lipstick" she smiles as she sees the confusion on my face. "Oh" I smile widely. We were making out a lot. Her makeup is smudged basically all over her face and she has dark hickeys on her neck.

"You had fun then?" My mom chuckles as she starts driving. "Yes! It was amazing!" Meredith says. "Good" she smiles. "It was alright" I mumble.

"Derek" meredith rolls her eyes. "It was incredible" I say. My mom laughs. Meredith smiles at me through the mirror.

"I love you" she says. "Shut up" I mumble, embarrassed to be mushy infront of my mom. She smiles as I reach my hand back. She holds it in hers.

"..I love you" I look back at her. She smiles wider. She leans forward as I pull her hand up gently to kiss it. My mom pulls up at merediths moms house, where she's staying tonight. Her parents think she went to the cinema with cristina though.

"I'll see you tomorrow at school" she opens the door. "Come round to give me a kiss" I say. "Okay" she giggles happily.

She runs around to my side of the car. I open the window. She leans down. I kiss her softly. "Can we go and see it again soon?" She asks. "Definitely" I say. She smiles.

"I love you" she hugs my neck. I smile at her as she pulls away. "Bye Carolyn" she says. "Bye sweetie" my mom says. She goes into her house.

"She's so sweet" my mom says, driving us home. "She's the best" I say. "I'm happy you found her, baby" she smiles. I smile too. We go home.

I go straight up to my bedroom and stick the new Polaroid pictures of her on my wall. I shower, get ready for bed then climb under the covers. I text her goodnight before going to sleep.
