Chapter 4

So they took the dog home as Jade sits his bed down in the living room as soft jazz music plays while Zoe gives Rocky some dog food. She heads to the kitchen "I set up his bed I think I'm gonna call it a night love y'all"she says giving them each a kiss on the cheek before heading to her bedroom for the night.

Jade was asleep curled in her blanket as her door slowly creaks open as she turns laying on her back as her chest slowly rises up and down as she sleeps. Rocky was at the end of her bed just stareing crawling up to her as the dog just stares at her as she sleeps.

It was the next day jade was wearing a purple tank top with an opened flannel shirt that was black and white as she wore black jeans with her combat boots as her crested moon necklace hangs loosely on her chest as her rings adored her fingers as she was in lab listening to music through her head phones as she types away on her lap top.

Ava was shown trying the get rocky to play as he lays down on the floor she makes kissy noises "rocky"she then whistles "get the ball"she says as she tossed it but the dog dose nothing.

The others were sitting at the table having lunch "hey guys you think he remembers? Dying"Ava asked them as clay hums with his hands folded on his head"mm dogs don't have memories so no"he says.

Jade hums as she rights down some notes before her music cuts off as she was getting a call as she then answered"hello"she asked.

"Yes this is the dean of the school of Yale that you applied I was just calling to tell you your are in"the dean says as jades eyes widen. She was soon running out her lab into the room the others were in"I got in!"she says with excitement as they all cheer before zoe stands up running over to her daughter as they share a hug.

They were doing a cat scan on the dog as Clay was shown at a computer before he noticed something "hey guys you might want to come look at this"he says before they all gathered around him"that's wired the serum is still present in the blood stream"he says making them confused.

"Yeah it's supposed to dissipate within like a few hours "Frank says as he looks at the screen.

"Man there's some crazy activity going on in the brain stem"clay says pointing at the screen before leaning back in his seat"are you sure you guys wanna keep this thing in your house "he asked.

"Why"Frank asked.

"One of the symptoms of hypothyroidism is extremely aggression this thing could go cujo here in a hurry"clay says as jade looks back at the screen as the bad feeling comes again as she was lost in her thoughts.

Jade was shown restocking some bends first she unpacks a bag of gays before putting it in a Ben as she sits it on a shelf before going to open a bag of syringes before jumping when she hears a scream before sitting the bag dog as she runs off it sounded like clay she runs into the room "what happened I heard a scream"she says breathing hard as the others were calming clay down.

"If you ask me I think we should put that thing down now"clay says after almost getting attacked by the dog who was now back in his kennel.

"At least you're not over reacting"zoe says with her hands on her hip with the others where cleaning up the mess.

"Overreacting my ass! Ok? There's something seriously wrong with that animal it's like it was possessed or something"clay says remembering the dark look in the dogs eyes.

"How long were you out of the room"Niko asked.

"I don't know 20 seconds tops and no I wasn't smoking"clay says lieing about the smoking part.

"Hey guys this stuff was on the top shelf"Ava says holding a bag of chips whike holding a broom"and even if you left the cage open, there's no way he could've gotten up here"she says as jade turns towards the dog.
