Chapter 5

Jade was in her chair with her hair let down in curls as she sips her coffee having not gotten much sleep last night she wore a blue tank top with jeans shorts and combat boots as she messes with her necklace deep in thought.

She then sees some people walking by as she was confused before stepping out of lab as she sees them going into the main lab as they were taking down there equipment"hey what's going on"she says as her mother trys to stop them.

"Y'all project has been cancelled do to the evidence we required"a man tells her as she gaps at him as she then glare before she whirls around on Ava"you"she says going to lunge at her as Niko and clay held her back.

Soon Ava was in front of Zoe who was angry as jade paces back and forth with a glare her parents and there team have worked so hard on this for three years now while rocky watches from the floor.

Zoe glares at Ava"you have to admit it's quite the coincidence you show up out of nowhere video tape everything and then poof, they take it all including our backup there"she says.

"Hang on wait a second we made her keep all the footage in the lab it's not her fault"Frank says making jade glare at her father"are you kidding me right now dad"she says in disbelief.

"We lost everything 4 years of our lives are reputations everything"Zoe says with a glare"if it's not her then please tell us what the hell happened"she asked jades father.

"If they wanted the serum why did they just hire us"clay asked from a stool.

"I mean let's imagine for a second that you're crylonis ok and you find out about the Lazarus serum you realize this thing is a gold mine, and you also realize that Werner gross sponsored it. So you buy Werner gross that's the first thing right there and then you realize all it takes is one anonymous call to the review board, and all of a sudden you own everything in that lab. You have the legal rights suddenly you're not splitting the profits anymore all that money is yours" frank explains as Niko scoffs shaking his head.

"Come on they're not gonna spend 50 million dollars just to get our serum right"Niko says as they all sit in silence before Frank thinks of an idea"we're gonna duplicate the experiment it's the only way"he says as they all share a look.

"You're joking right"Niko asked.

"What we're going to walk away now we have no proof no one's ever going to believe that it was us we're never going to have another chance at this okay look they are not going to start cleaning the lab till tomorrow right that gives us at least what like 12 we break in there we duplicate the experiment you film it and we take back with ours "Frank says as Zoe and Jade share a look.

"Duplicated how I mean they took all these serum"clay says as Zoe pulls one out of a bag"we figured just in case"she says as as they all shar a look.

"The lab is on a time lock there is only one security guard. We know exactly what his root is this is absolutely doable"Frank says.

"And how are we supposed to get in they took our key cards"Niko says just as Ava pulls hers out"I'm not all of them"she says as they soon smile at one another it was now or never.
