Chapter 8

A facet is shown running in a low light bathroom with the light buzzing as jade gasp in pain as she trys to stick her hand under water but couldn't before turning the water off as she looks up in the mirror turning her head so she can see if the needle mark was healing before she furrows her eyebrows it looks for darker then it was.

She gently pulls the bandaid showing the entire mark of the needle black and red making her confused as she placed the bandaid back before jumping back as part of the mirror cracks before seeing a difference in the reflection while one shows her fearful expression the cracked reflection was smiling darkly she slowly touches the mirror.

She then heard a dog snarling behind her as she slowly turns around to see rocky snarling barring his teeth at her as a low growl comes from her throat as her eyes flutter before she looks blankly at the dog tilting her head before the hallway was shown as the dog cries out before it was silenced as everything goes deadly quiet.

Frank was shown looking over some brain cells through some equipment as Zoe was pacing around before jumping with a gasp as her daughter appeared behind her making Frank turn around "I think something's wrong mom. Dad"she says making her parents share a look before she pukes up whit foam as Zoe catches her daughter as they help her sit down on he groans as she grows.

"Ok okay your alright baby come here"Frank says helping Zoe sit there daughter down as she looks up at them as she grabs them by the arms shaking her h"no no I'm not ok I'm not ok"she says.

"No you're okay honey your all right"Frank says moving her hair back.

"No somethings happening something happened "she tells them scared"I'm changing "she says as Zoe grabs her face g"ok ok...ok shh calm down what's happening"she asked her daughter.

"I can here things, I can see things. Look look at my hand"jade says showing them but this time they looked normal as she looks shocked at her hand"wait...."she says in disbelief freaking out.

"Honey there's nothing wrong with your hand"Frank says calmly to his daughter who was freaking out as she shakes her head"mom dad when I died I went somewhere "she says before a hallway with lights as fire was burning underneath a door covered in smoke as fire flashed on the walls before disappearing"I was in the building I was there I could here a girl screaming behind the door she was stuck!"she explained with fear.

Zoe shakes her head"jade that was a dream it's a traumatic memory from when you were just starting a life. But it's not real baby "she says to her daughter.

Jade shake her head"that's what I thought I couldn't wake up. I was stuck in was endless. I tired. It went on and on and everyday, I was there. It was the same over and over every single day"her voice cracking as she explained.

"Jade you were gone for less than an hour "Frank explains to his daughter as she Shakes her head"no y'all don't understand it's been years I've been in there for years"she says with her voice cracking as her parents shared a look.

"Honey listen to me okay your brain was failing due to the lack of oxygen your hallucinating from the DMT this is a terrible memory from your years of starting your life"Frank explains as jades shakes her head they weren't listening to her as a tear slides down her face "but it's playing in a traumatic loop"Zoe explains.

"No. It was hell"jade says looking up at her parents with tears"that's what hell is you relive the worst of your life on a loop over and over,and you can never wake up"she says remembering a book she read about the afterlife but her parents didn't believe her as her shoulders dropped in defeat as they comfort her with words as they reassure her that she's here and awake.

She was then shown sitting at a table as Zoe holds one of her hands as Frank injected her with something to help her calm down as she stares blankly ahead."okay all right that's just gonna help you sleep a little bit ok."he explains to his daughter as she slowly side glanced him as everything slowly fades before she was shown laying down on the couch asleep as overlapping voices are heard in whispers as eva covers her with a blanket.

She freezes as she hears something before looking down at jade "jade"she asked softly but jade remains asleep as distant and indistinct voices are heard as she slowly approaches jade before lowering her head as she listens as jades eyelids twitch as eva lifts her head looking at jade before she stands up turning around as she sees a hallway with the end covered with smoke.

She slowly walks down the hallway but stops shaking her head fixing to turn back only seeing a wall behind her before she turns around with fear as a distance scram was head as a sound of a door being pounded on was heard as she gulps before slowly moving forward "Frank"she calls out as pounding on the door continues "jade"she calls out next as the scream gets louder"Frank! Jade can you hear me!"she yells before running to the door as the punding continues as a ashed burned hand reaches out the bottom with a scream making her jump back with fear.

"I should not be here"she hears her own voice as she slowly turns around seeing what looked like a 13 year old girl in pajamas standing in the middle of the hallway "hi do you know where we are"eva asked the young girl who had her hand clutched around something "what have you got there? I...what do you have in your hand"she asked the young girl.

As the 13 year old girl holds that hand behind her back as she holds the other one to her mouth making a shhing noise as the lights start going off one by one before eva was consumed by darkness before a bright blurry was shown as she looks around scared wondering what was going on as muffled voices can be heard as she holds a hand up squinting her eyes as a blurry figure was in front of her it grabs her as flashes of a burning bedroom filled with makeup and notebooks and picture frame of two teen girls was shown burning in flames as a scream was heard as she screams filling as if she was being burned before she was shown laying on the ground beside jade as she wakes up with a scream shocking the others before she gets up running out of they room.
