Hello again! I'm glad you're back! I will upload a chapter a day so we can start getting it into some different places, but after a few chapters are in place I will start posting every few days. Enjoy! -Jayo_3

I dropped my backpack in my house and immediately ran downstairs. My heart was racing and I needed to be alone for a second.

I practically ripped open the door to my room and collapsed myself onto my bed. I closed my eyes and let my head settle for just a moment to make a thought. My phone was buzzing with messages from my other friends, but I couldn't stand to look at them. I centered myself onto my bed and grabbed a pillow to wrap in my arms.

Deep breath, I told myself, keep breathing.

Once my brain started to relax even just a little, I was looking at my surroundings, trying to depict all the colors of the rainbow. "Red poster..." I mumbled as I wiped the tears rolling down my cheeks, "Orange jacket inside of closet..."

Hailey walked in and gave me a confused look, "Are you okay, sweetie?"

I gave her a weak nod, "I'm alright."

She went back up the stairs after closing my door and I laid back onto my pillow. I reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone and saw all the missed messages from today. I sighed and scrolled through, responding to my friends. Most of them asked where I was at lunch. After staring at my messages, I watched my phone turn off by itself. I opened my phone again and clicked into Instagram. Once I took a few deep breaths, I went to the search engine and typed 'Jezelle' into it. At my fingers was one person to click on. I tapped it and was brought up to Jezelle's page. I smiled as I scrolled through her photos, seeing all these pictures of her and her family.

My hand kept moving over the message button. Something in my head was telling me that I needed to talk to her more. At the rate my head was going, my fingers didn't have time to respond. Lucky enough, I didn't have to type anything. A message came before I could send one.

I jumped at the message appearing in my phone. I looked at the message and it simply said, 'hey felie! it's me, jezelle from school!' I smiled and pulled it up bigger on my screen. I debated on what I should say next to her, "Hm..." I mumbled to myself.

'oh hey' was all I could come up with.

After a few seconds of waiting, I was met with a response, 'no sarcasm? i'm personally impressed at your self control over the messages.'

'well you seem more confident over messages.' I told her. A moment of silence filled our messages before I said something. 'why'd ya text?'

I sat for a few minutes, waiting for some sort of response from her. I stared at my phone so hard I could feel a headache starting to form at the moment. I was so focused on my phone I didn't even notice my father walking into my room. "Felie?" he said in his demanding tone.

My phone slipped out of my hand when I looked up, just a touch startled. "Oh hi, Dad! How were the rest of your classes?"

He sat down on the foot of my bed and let out a deep sigh, "Your class was the best behaved, that's for sure. I'm so glad you wanted to take my art class. With you in it my year will be slightly tolerable for me. Some of those kids are just looking for an easy A and you give me just the amount of help I need to make it in the day. This year will fly by!"

"I'm glad to hear it! When is Camden coming home from college?" I asked him.

He rubbed my back, "I know how much you love your step-brother. He'll be coming by this weekend, I'm sure of it. He can't get enough of you. And I'm pretty sure he's bringing his girlfriend with him too!" Dad got a little excited whenever Camden brought home a new girl. I loved my step-brother, but I never get to see him. Whenever he comes, it's always such a great time with our family.
