Three days.

That's how long it took Vegeta to finally get dragged to the Quarters by Raditz and Nappa.

And there he was, sitting with them in this secluded place of the ship, surrounded by low-class soldiers and whores with miserable lives, all in desperate need of company. The place reeked of sex, low-quality alcohol and overworked bodies. It was dark, the dim orange-tinted lights not allowing them to clearly distinguish the dull faces of those who frequented this part of the ship. There was a lot of noise, music and shouts of drunken soldiers filling the place, as well as a few muffled moans coming from the occupied rooms behind the stage, on which a female and a male with yellow spotted skin were dancing completely naked, and jaded to be.

Vegeta hated this place. He had followed Nappa and Raditz here, but he had insisted on sitting at the back of the room in order to avoid mingling with this fauna whom he despised so much. They quietly drank their brew, a kind of fermented green mash with a harsh taste, which had absolutely nothing to do with the complex and delicious aromas of the beer they had tasted on Earth.

It had only been two minutes since they arrived, but a few women had already started to swirl around them. Raditz observed them with interest, while Vegeta had his eyes on the table to avoid having contact with their insistent gazes. Nappa already had a female sitting on his lap, named Rhissia. He was a regular, and he seemed to like this one in particular.

"Prince Vegeta" said the woman in a honeyed tone, caressing Nappa's bald head with her long fingers. "We don't see you around very often. It's an honour to have you here tonight."

Vegeta didn't answer. He had nothing to say to this depraved female.

"You should avoid talking to him." Nappa said to her. "He's not in a very good mood. He doesn't like coming to the Quarters."

"Why did you come, then?" she asked.

Nappa and Raditz exchanged a look.

"He has needs, just like everyone else." the long-haired Saiyan quickly explained.

He made a gesture with his hand to tell a woman with long, blond hair who was hovering around their table to approach. The latter jumped at the opportunity and started to dance suggestively right in front of Raditz. Vegeta looked at her for a second. He saw her move, caressing the almost translucent blue skin of her buttocks, and he couldn't help but manifest his disgust.

"All the females I see are hideous." he complained, wrinkling his nose.

"Prince, if you are not interested in the women here, I should remind you that you can take a look at the ones in the exclusive aisle, the one for high ranked soldiers." said Rhissia, not at all offended by his comment. "There are even two new recruits who, in my opinion, may attract you. They are really pretty and physically look a lot like you, Saiyans."

Vegeta sat up straighter in his chair. He looked away from his subordinates to avoid spilling the beans, even though he knew they weren't that stupid. Of course, they suspected the reason for his visit to the Quarters, and just like him, they had not failed to note Rhissia's mention of the new recruits.

Because if Vegeta, who almost always refused to follow them here, had finally agreed to set his noble feet in this much despised place this evening, it was because he had a particular reason to do so.

It was her. The Human woman.

Ever since their paths had crossed, down on Earth, she had taken up a disproportionate place in his admirably disciplined mind.

This encounter, as brief as it was, was enough to disrupt his carefully calculated balance.

Her blue hair. Her lively eyes. Her endless legs in these tiny shorts. Her scarlet, curvy and full lips. Her voluptuous curves that he had been able to feel against him for a moment, when she accidently lied on his lap after the explosion.
