Chapter 2 – All Back
Omniscient
Tappahannock, Virginia
He was still shaken up drastically from the news and everything he did to try to cope with the situation just made it worse. To try and find something to keep his mind at ease he placed all his attention into his children and music. So far it was going good but every time he closes his eyes he sees her lifeless body lying bare on the bathroom floor, the horror just felt too much all over again.
Myles dabbed Chris' forehead with a cold cloth whenever sweat would accumulate on his forehead. The children were currently with his parents as he took some time to rest but it haven't been doing much for him. Every time he goes to sleep his mind doesn't rest. He can never, not see her on the cold tile with the hospital hand rail in her hand. And for it to be only two days after bringing life in this world just felt like it was not to be. Don't get him wrong, he is eternally grateful for his children but the circumstances surrounding their birth just wasn't the best and no matter what he or his family did to ease the feeling of 'wrongness' it will always be there until the day she wakes.
"Wake Up." He mumbled while stirring in his sleep. Within seconds he shoots up out of bed with heavy breathing. Myles held unto him before he could fall off of the bed from panicking. He sighed laying his cousin back on the plush sheets.
"Wake up Giselle." Chris mumbled before falling back to sleep.

"If I had a moment, I'd capture that moment. You would be right here next to me."
He sang out in the open room as his fingers played over the black and white piano keys. As he sung his heart out, his phone kept dinging with messages but he ignored them.
"And I want it all back...." He hit the high note and the tears rolled down his cheeks. It was hitting him harder than it had ever before realizing that the birth of their children would be the last time he'd ever get to feel her. To hear her say I love you.
He continued to sing but stopped half way through the song as the emotions got the best of him. He placed his head down on the top of the piano and just cried. He cried until his throat was sore but he never stopped. He couldn't stop.
After a moment he got up, grabbed his phone and made his way back into the living room where he saw his family sitting down with eyes fixed on the TV.
GOODBYE TO A LEGEND
Singer Beyoncé will be taken off of life support tomorrow once failing to show any signs of improvement after a slip and fall in her bathroom.
He shook his head before making his way into his bedroom. He walked in seeing his daughters sleeping in his large king sized bed with pillows forming a barricade around them. He kissed each of their foreheads before sitting in the corner. He never once took his eyes off of them. He didn't want them to leave him either.
Ever since the doctor came to visit with an update, he's been holding onto hope. It was difficult to do so no matter how much it hurt but he had no choice but to. He had to do it for himself but most importantly for his girls. No matter what the media may think, he was going to hold onto hope. He was going to hold out until she decides it's no longer necessary.
Upper East Side, New York
Waking up in an empty room, Beyoncé looked around seeing nothing but the light shining through from the large window that decorated the wall. She groaned looking down at the IVs in her arm. Her body felt weak and sore. She looked around for something to contact the medics but the remote was on the other side of the room.
