Chapter 10 – Senses

This past week has been the easiest of them all. Nothing but love and tranquility was in the air. The twins were almost three months old and Chris and Beyoncé were beyond excited. After trending on social media for three days straight for the post Chris made the night of their family outing, they have been receiving calls and emails for the inside scope of their relationship and family dynamic. However, Beyoncé had to top it all off with the intimate video Darren had sent her. That somehow seemed to spark engagement rumors between the couple. All Chris and Bey could do was watch on and laugh but for some it didn't sit well.

Jay watched the video and he couldn't help but feel as if he wasn't a present enough father in Blue's life. He's been doing his best to correct his wrongs and he felt as though what he was doing was right. Now seeing this? It just showed him that he needed to be more focused on his children now more than ever or else someone else will fill that void.

Another person who didn't like what they were seeing was none other than Mathew Knowles. He doesn't understand what his daughter sees in a guy like Chris. He knows Jay was the right one for her and he always stuck by his gut feeling even in the most confusing circumstances.

"We have to stop them Tina." He fussed.

He was on a call with his ex-wife, trying to find some way to separate the two the. Nothing so far seemed to be working since the girl he had hired to hit on Chris in Miami failed miserably. Once the hotel posted the footage and cleared Chris' name, it seemed as though the couple's relationship got stronger. Not to mention Chris also sued the woman for $750,00 and had won.

"Mathew what can we do?" She asked, uneasiness laced in her voice.

"I know what you two can do." Richard, Tina's husband, snatched the phone away from her and placed it on speaker. "Y'all can leave them the hell alone! Ain't no need to try and ruin what God has already blessed! Then y'all wonder why they don't want you two around their children." He hung up the phone then turned to his wife.

"You have placed your emotional scars on that girl for so many years and you refuse to let her go to grow on her own. All you're doing is ruining a relationship with your daughter, Christopher and the children and until you wake up with no one by your side you'll really know what it feels to be alone." He scolded her. He couldn't believe that he let that sorry excuse of a man get into her head and easily manipulate her into doing things that were so against her character.

She hung her head in shame, knowing that everything he said was the gospel truth. She then started to feel like she had already ruined every opportunity she could've have with her daughter and the early relationship she could've built with Rumi, Kairi and Chris.

"...unless this shit y'all got going on is fixed and resolved, no one will be allowed around our child and I'm deadass about it."

Chris' words rang through her like words to her favorite song. She now knew what she had to do.

April 12th 2021 | Napa Valley, San Francisco

The styling team and those in charge of setting up the sets for the shoot today were all working diligently to ensure that today was a success. Chris was sitting inside of his trailer waiting to be called to the set. Rumi and Kairi were both comfortable sitting slightly upwards on his lap watching the basketball game that was showing on the TV with their father. Beyonce was on the other side of the lot doing a few last-minute adjustments to her dress. It was a bit too tight in the breast area and it was kind of difficult for her to breath comfortably, especially in such high humidity.
