Three days after an incident caused the former prince to shatter a mirror with his bare hand he was now recovered. He was making some lunch for everyone, humming softly as he did so. The omega's belly was very swollen. Zoro was in the workout room working out as he heard Nami call everyone to the deck. She was giving out their allowance for the island. Sanji was wearing one of Zoro's kimonos and purred. It smelled strongly of his alpha and gave him comfort. He continued preparing lunch while Nami gave out allowance for everyone once the island came into view. While Sanji cooked he earned a strong kick and yelped, the glass he was holding fell from his hand as he gripped the counter with a groan. "Shit!" He cursed and leaned over trying to catch his breath. He rubbed the area the kick came from and breathed before trying to pick up the glass after regaining his composure. He tried and failed, his belly too big to allow him to bend.

Zoro went into the galley to check on his mate and was greeted with a struggling omega. "Oi! What do you think you're doing Cook?!" He growled going over. Sanji looked at his mate. "What does it look like? I'm trying to pick up this glass." He asked then stated. Zoro clicked his tongue in disapproval as he urged Sanji to sit down and proceeded to pick up the glass then wash it, putting it away. "Next time, just ask for help." He said. Sanji huffed once sat and rubbed his big belly. "I didn't wanna call for help, I thought I could get it." He said. Zoro kissed his mate's temple and rubbed the baby bump. "You're almost seven months, try taking it easy alright." He said holding Sanji. Sanji felt useless at this point. He couldn't even fight anymore. "Let me take over lunch preparations, you go rest." Said Zoro. "No, it's alright, I'm fine. Besides I'm almost done. After this I'll need to prepare some box lunches, you know how our Luffy is." Explained Sanji as he stood with help from Zoro.

Once lunch was ready Zoro called everyone in to eat. Luffy barreled into the galley laughing. "Oops, guess I'm not quite ready to use this move!" He laughed. Sanji smiled at his captain. "Come on captain, lunch is ready, time to eat." He said as he offered a plate of food to Luffy who gladly accepted it and began eating. "So your hand is all better now Sanji?" He asked once seated. Sanji smiled at him. "Yeah, I have genetics that help me heal faster." He said. Soon everyone was in the galley, Zoro made plates with a healthy serving of food and passed them around making sure everyone had one. They arrived at the island and Chopper's nose twitched. "The air is strange here." He said, his ears flat. A loud growl erupted from Zoro's broad chest as his eye glowed. "I'm with Sanji." He declared and no one protested, knowing that the swordsman can and would kill anyone who so much as looked at their ship's cook. Sanji smiled and kissed Zoro's cheek, his large cub swollen belly gently pressed against Zoro's side. The pressure earned a strong kick of disapproval from one cub which made Sanji wince. "Ah, easy there you little kick boxer." He hissed rubbing the area. Zoro looked down and placed a hand over the same area. "Strong kick." He said and Sanji nodded. "Yeah, pretty sure this cub will take after me." Said Sanji chuckling.

Once docked and anchored Nami gave Sanji his allowance. She always gave the chef extra, especially knowing full well their captain could outeat ten grown men. "Thanks Nami, I'll be sure to stock up on everything we need." Said Sanji, he had changed his outfit but his belly made it clear that he was heavy with cubs. Nami couldn't put a finger on it, but something seemed different about their cook. "Please be careful Sanji." She said and hugged him. She was worried for his and the cubs' safety. "Don't worry Nami, I've got them." Assured Zoro as he scented his mate. "You had better keep them safe Zoro." Growled Nami, though she was a beta she was quite scary at times. The pair left and went shopping. Sanji was nervous, he felt eyes on him at every turn, every stall, every shop. Vendors and shopkeeps looking at his belly. The prince hung his head to hide his tears, he could hear whispers and not friendly, some were jealous females while others were just cruel or unsettling. Zoro pulled him close and Sanji looked up. "Zoro." He said softly.

"Don't listen to them, you're beautiful." Assured Zoro, his hand rested over Sanji's cub swollen belly. Once they made all their purchases Zoro and Sanji returned to the Sunny. Sanji hummed as he stood in the galley going through his recipe book. "Everyone will be back soon and dinner hasn't been decided yet." He said. Zoro nuzzled his mate and kissed the cook's long slender neck. "Ahn, not there." He said holding back a moan. Zoro smiled at his mate's beautiful sounds. "You're so beautiful." He purred. Something glinted in Zoro's eye. He kissed Sanji deeply before going to their room. Sanji had changed and was wearing Zoro's kimono from Wano. He felt more comfortable in it than his own. The prince earned a strong kick from one cub and winced. "Easy, you're okay." He soothed, but then he was hit with a strong overbearing scent of an alpha clearly entering rut. The scent made him sick and he emptied the contents of his stomach in the sink as tears fell. He yelped when he was pushed against the sink roughly. "Let go of me. I'm mated already, I've already been claimed you bastard." He growled. Zoro's eye widened and glowed white with anger. He ran out of their room and to the galley.

The moon was high in the sky now. Zoro growled loudly. "Get Away From My Mate!" He snapped. Sanji winced. "Please stop, this isn't good for them." He said only to be hit harshly by the rutting alpha. His eyes glowed bright and he felt his heart freeze, his blood ran cold, and in one swift move he stabbed the brute on top of him with his bare hand. When the alpha collapsed Sanji looked down. Tears filled his eyes as he stared at the crimson liquid dripping from his claws, Zoro was staring wide eyed at the sight before him, he ran over and took Sanji into his arms. "Shh, hey it's okay. You did nothing wrong." He assured as Sanji cried. "I killed him.... M- My heart was ice, my blood ran cold, I- I felt nothing." said Sanji as tears fell. Luffy was at a vendor with Usopp when his eyes glowed. "Something's wrong." He said. Usopp looked at his captain and nodded. "Yeah, we need to get back to Sunny." He said and the two left.

When they arrived a howl rang through the sky, it was loud and filled with grief. They went to where the howl came, it was in the galley. They were greeted with Zoro who was holding Sanji close trying to console him. "Shh, you're still human. You can cry, you still feel remorse and regret." He soothed. Across from the pair was the body of an alpha, Luffy grabbed a soft rag and proceeded to soak it with warm water and soap. His hat shadowed his eyes as he knelt beside Sanji and began cleaning the blood from the omega's clawed hand. "It's okay Sanji, we're here for you." He assured as he gently cleaned Sanji's hand. Sanji was confused at his captain's actions. Most times alphas took care of their mate, moreso after a bond night. After an alpha and omega mated and sealed their love with a bond mark the alpha would clean his mate. This meant after a session the alpha would clean their omega with a soft rag, draw them a bath, and help them wash. Then the bonded pair would rest and the process would be repeated. However, Luffy was not Sanji's mate, Zoro was. So why was the young alpha cleaning his hand? Sanji cried as everyone in their makeshift pack hugged him and comforted him. Franky and Jimbei disposed of the body with the help of a seaking that happily accepted the meal. Nami and Robin took over all the dinner preparations so Sanji could rest. Their cook was shaken up after the incident and no one blamed him for his actions. It was a matter of self-defense when that alpha came aboard. Chopper had checked on the cubs and was happy that all were safe and sound, their hearts were beating in perfect sync, none of them seemed distressed which pleased him. He told Sanji it was best for him to rest for the night. Zoro didn't want to leave his mate after everything that happened only mere hours ago, but it was his night to be on watch.
