Chp. 15: Explain Yourself! Tell Me The Truth!

Zoro ran around the forest in his full wolf form sniffing every which way to catch on to Sanji's scent. "Where are you?!" He called looking around. Sanji was on a zen esque built bridge fighting back pained screams. "Stop it please." He said lowly as he gripped the bridge railing. He was in pain and his mate was not by his side to help calm their cubs. Chopper looked around for Sanji so he could check on him but with little success. The little doctor sighed and went back to the reception hoping the newlyweds would reappear soon. Zoro got to the bridge or at least a bridge and noticed someone standing on it. "Sanji?" He asked and the figure moved. He found Sanji, but not exactly. This was past Sanji. His hair was opposite of where it was now, he was smoking, and his goatee also was gone. Sanji took a step back and was grabbed harshly by his throat and thrown against a tree. "Yonji! Be careful with him. Dad isn't done testing on him, we came here to take him home remember." Said a blue haired man as he grabbed Sanji by his throat making the prince cough harshly. "Let go of me bastard." He growled and kicked Niji into the snow. Ichiji growled and slammed Sanji into the snow. "That's enough! Get back over to the palace, I'll take him back." Stated another voice.

"Wait! Let him go!" Called Zoro but the men seemed to not hear him and a fog rolled in. The three men and Sanji, were gone. "What?" He asked confused before hearing something. The fog cleared and on the bridge was Sanji, his Sanji. Zoro ran over to his downed mate. "O- Oi! Cook!" He called. "Don't! Just leave me alone!" Snapped Sanji as he winced and held his belly. "Sanji please, at least let me explain." Said Zoro. Sanji growled, his eyes glowed with anger and before he could stop himself, the prince slapped the swordsman hard not realizing his claws were out until he saw the cuts on his mate's cheek. "Then Explain! Tell Me The Truth!" Demanded Sanji as tears stung his eyes. Zoro placed a hand where he was struck and drew his hand away revealing blood. "Zoro I...." started Sanji but Zoro stopped him. "I deserved that, and I will accept any scars you bestow upon me out of anger." Stated Zoro as he looked at his mate. Sanji teared up as Zoro took his ringed hand and kissed it not caring for the blood, his blood on the prince's trembling hand. It was starting to get dark and the moon was rising.

"The reason I care not about my day of birth is simple. It was my sixteenth birthday, the moon was full. I had a change." Said Zoro as his eye glowed in the light of the full moon and his form began to change. Sanji only watched his mate change form before his eyes. His new form was neither man nor beast, but between the two. He was a fullon werewolf. "Zoro." Said Sanji softly. "This is why I care so little about my day of birth. Who could love a monster?" Stated then asked Zoro. "I can.... Rather, we can. We will." Said Sanji as he nuzzled his mate, he kissed the nose of the massive werewolf and smiled as he gently touched his mate's head. Zoro purred into the touch of his prince. Sanji grit his teeth and hugged the werewolf. "Easy, come on let's get you five back to Sunny." Said Zoro as he gently picked up Sanji. The newlywed couple went to the edge of the forest and soon returned to the village. Once they arrived everyone stared at the massive beast carrying the former prince. "Heyyy! Welcome back you two!" Called Luffy and everyone looked at where he was waving. Sanji was a bit hurt. Luffy knew about this yet he only just found out. He groaned and hid his face in Zoro's fur. The moon became covered by clouds and Zoro returned to his human form.

When they arrived at Sunny Zoro could feel Sanji was warm, but that wasn't normal for the prince, especially since his genetics were toyed with while he was developing in his mother's womb. Zoro carried him to their room and gently laid him down. Sanji had some labored breathing and his face was flushed. "A- Am I running a fever?" Asked Sanji as his hand was upon his forehead. This wasn't normal for him. He never got sick. "Shit. I need to get Chopper." Said Zoro as he kissed Sanji's head. "Stay here and don't move, I'll be back." He said and rushed out of their room. Chopper ran into the room to check on Sanji. He really did have a high temperature. "When did this start?" Asked the doctor. "Shortly after we returned from the forest. He was warm when we came out but by the time I got him in here and laid him down his temperature seemed to skyrocket." Explained Zoro as Sanji panted. "C- Can't breathe, need to get this off." Said the prince his voice raspy. Zoro began removing Sanji's clothing to help him breathe easier. "There, better?" He asked and Sanji nodded. Chopper got to work on his patient. He checked all of Sanji's vitals and then checked on the cubs.

"Oh um.... That isn't normal." Said Chopper as he looked at the monitor. "What's not normal?" Asked Zoro. "Umm how do I say this. Your babies are... well they don't look the same as they did last emergency checkup. Here look for yourself." Said Chopper. Zoro looked and on the screen were four wolf cubs, actual wolf cubs. "This is bad, Sanji can't deliver wolf cubs, it's not natural or normal for that matter." Said Chopper and Zoro growled. "Don't You Dare Say That! They Are Still Our Babies No Matter What Form They Choose!" Snapped the alpha father to be and Sanji nodded in agreement. These were still their babies even if they chose to be wolf cubs instead of human babies. "Th- They shifted?" Asked Sanji and Zoro kissed him sweetly. Chopper starer as he saw what was happening in the monitor. Sanji groaned and squeezed Zoro's hand as the cubs began shifting and returned to their human forms. "I guess they wanted you to know they can shift just like you two." Said Chopper and the couple nodded and smiled a bit. "Okay, all seems well, but I will need to keep a closer watch on you. Now moreso than before." He said before packing up. Sanji's temperature was back to normal and the prince sighed softly as he cuddled to his husband. He was tired now, the cubs shifting took a lot out of him.

Chopper packed his items and headed out to let Sanji rest. Zoro drifted off to sleep and his dreams were filled with what he saw back in the forest on the bridge. He woke only about two hours after and looked around which made Sanji look over. "Zoro? Is everything okay?" Asked the prince sleepily. Zoro only looked at his mate and smiled as he kissed him deeply. Both men moaned into the kiss. "Wait Zoro, we can't. It might cause labor." Said Sanji but Zoro was driven by lust due to his mate's sweet scent. "Zoro wait don't." Said Sanji and moaned as his husband took one of his nipples into his mouth and sucked. "Ahn! Not there!" Moaned Sanji which made Zoro smirk as he began suckling from his mate. "Mmm, it's sweet." Said Zoro which made Sanji feel dirty. "Stop it feels wrong." Said Sanji but moaned as Zoro suckled. Soon the newlyweds were messing around. Zoro nuzzled his mate and began scenting him. "You are mine, and no one else can take you from me." Growled Zoro as he kissed his husband's bond mark. "I would accept no one but you as my mate." Said Sanji and moaned softly as Zoro kissed his neck knowing they couldn't do anything else. Sanji groaned as he woke mere hours later having felt a contraction. He shrugged it off thinking it was just Braxton hicks and returned to sleep, or tried to, but the contractions kept coming, waking him every half hour or so.
