Chp. 12: Full Of Surprises

Sanji purred as he stretched. "Mmm, I guess we went a little wild last night." He said and rubbed his eight month belly. He felt massive. Zoro yawned and stretched as he woke. "I guess so. How are you feeling? Did I hurt you?" He asked concerned. Sanji smiled and shook his head. "No, you were very gentle. Even with my hidden secrets. Thanks for not being judgemental." He said. Both of them were naked in their nest and cuddled. When the time was around 8:30am the two washed up, had another session during so and washed up again before going into the galley to begin breakfast. Sanji hissed as he was kicked. "Easy now." He murmured. Zoro was behind him kissing his mate and holding their unborn cubs. "Wait, we both said four cubs the other day. I thought we were only having three?" He stated then asked. Sanji thought about it and Zoro was right. Both of them did say four cubs when Chopper had told them it was three. "Well when I was checked, we heard three heartbeats, but I could've sworn there was a fourth, it was feint, but it was there." Said Sanji as he rubbed his belly. He was wearing a kimono, it was much more comfortable than a tailored suit. They were making waffles for breakfast. Sanji had gone into town and purchased some fresh sweet oranges so decided fresh squeezed orange juice would be good for everyone's breakfast.

They had docked at a little island, everyone seemed to be getting ready for a fall festival of sorts. What he wore into town was perfectly fine. He got a few looks, but most of them smiled at him. Zoro was with him so no one asked questions. There were some children playing and running around laughing and smiling as they held little pinwheels that spun with the breeze while they ran. One of them tripped still learning how to walk and run in kimono sandals. Sanji went over and helped her up being careful. She wiped her eyes and smiled at him, she thanked him before she rejoined her friends who were waiting for her. Sanji smiled and waved to them. Zoro smiled at his mate. Sanji rubbed his belly as he looked over at Zoro smiling at the memory. Once breakfast was done Sanji called everyone into the galley. Nami and Robin were chatting amongst themselves as they entered then stopped once Sanji saw them. They were plotting something, he knew they were. The two only smiled innocently at their cook. Oh yeah, they were definitely up to something. Sanji leaned against the counter with a soft groan. His cubs were getting big, almost too big to carry anymore. He was worried at how fast they were growing. They weren't even ready yet. They still had a lot to do. Baby/Cub proof everything, they didn't even have clothes for them or names, or a room. The prince put a hand to his head. It felt as though the galley was spinning even though he was standing still. Zoro rushed to him and held him. "Hey easy, sit please. You need to stop." He said. Sanji looked over at his mate. He nodded and sat down. He was overthinking again.

Nami watched them. "Hey here's an idea. How about we stay here? It's a nice little island, and there's a festival happening. We could stay here for a few days so Sanji can get some much needed and well deserved R&R?" Offered their navigator. Sanji winced and held his belly. "While that all sounds well and good, I don't want to bring trouble to these innocent people." He said as he breathed. Zoro looked at Sanji concerned. "Cook please. You need this. I know you're in a lot of pain and we did have a few fights with enemies, but here no one knows who we are. Please Sanji, for you and our cubs." Pleaded Zoro. Sanji looked at his mate and sighed. "Okay, but only for the cubs. If trouble rises we leave immediately." He said. Everyone smiled and once finished with their breakfast everyone went to the island. Sanji was walking with Zoro down the decorated streets. Both wore autumn themed kimonos that were matching. Zoro had scented Sanji as they strolled. The cook went to the different stands and admired the trinkets and even tasted some foods. He thanked the vendors as he paid though some said not to worry about paying and that he needed to feed his cub. Sanji didn't really like not paying, it felt wrong. He ran a hand over his belly and smiled. His cubs were happy and healthy. He didn't care if they were boys or girls, or alpha or omega. He just wanted them to arrive happy and healthy. He sat on a bench with Zoro who had purchased some dimsum and a moon cake. "Here, eat." Said Zoro. Sanji looked at the offered food and smiled. He was already getting full, but he didn't want to let the food go to waste. Luffy was eating happily with Brook and Chopper was enjoying some cotton candy. Nami and Robin had disappeared somewhere.

It was getting late so everyone headed back to Sunny. Sanji boarded and looked around, it seemed a bit too quiet. Everyone said they had gone back early to Sunny. As he looked around though he didn't see anyone. "That's weird. Didn't everyone say they'd meet us back here?" He asked Zoro. Zoro looked around. "Yeah they did but, I don't see anyone." Said Zoro when he heard the familiar sound of a violin being played. They looked up to see Brook. "Welcome home you two. Come with me." He said which confused them but they followed their musician. Once on deck everyone came out with a shout of "SURPRISE!!" Sanji rubbed his belly as the cubs stirred. "Please watch what you do. I don't want my cubs scared out of me." He said panting as he held his belly. "Sorry!!" Apologized everyone. Sanji breathed and rubbed his belly. "It's okay, just please take caution." He said. He looked at the banner above them. The banner read, "Welcome To The Crew Baby Vinsmoke Roronoa!" Sanji's eyes filled with tears. "W- What is this?" He asked. Nami smiled as her and Robin went over to him and gently pulled him away from Zoro to sit him down. "A baby shower, for you." Said Robin smiling.

Zoro smiled as he went over to his mate. "A baby shower? But why?" Asked Sanji. "Well bro we thought you deserved this. You've been working hard to carry these babies to term, we know how much pressure you must be under, which we also know isn't good for you or them." Said Franky as he brought over some gifts. "We don't even know what we're having though, we want their genders to be a surprise." Said Sanji. Zoro kissed Sanji sweetly and smiled as he nuzzled his mate. Sanji kissed Zoro happily as their makeshift pack brought over gifts. "We made dinner as well." Said Robin smiling. Luffy was running around Sunny happily in his wolf form. It seemed as if everyone on the island had shifted. More wolves danced around the village along with some cubs. Sanji got up and looked out. The entire island was wolves all around. It was a secret hidden island of sorts, no wonder they smiled at him as he arrived there. Their scents were a mix of alpha, omega, even beta. He felt at ease.

He and Zoro opened some of the gifts and Sanji smiled as he held up a little onesie with a duck on it. The one Zoro had was green with a little plant on it. Sanji laughed at Zoro's expression. "I love you all so much. Thank you for being my makeshift pack." Said Sanji as he hugged all of them. Jimbei smiled as he gave them his gift. When they opened it they both smiled. It was a four piece set. Four little kimonos that were similar to the one Jimbei wore but in different colors. "Oh Jimbei, they're beautiful. Thank you." Said Sanji. "I thought it would be suitable, should we come to another island like this." Said Jimbei. Zoro shook Jimbei's hand and thanked him for the special gift. Nami smiled as she came over and presented her gift. Zoro opened it and smiled. "How did you find these?" He asked. There were four dojo outfits similar to the one he wore when he was young. "I did some research and when we were there I asked if I could have four custom made ones." Said Nami. Robin presented her gift. Sanji opened it. It was a set of books all from their travels. "Now we can tell them all about our adventures." He said smiling. Luffy laughed as he presented his gift. Zoro smiled as he took it and opened it. "Luffy? Did you have these made custom?" He asked as he pulled out four hats that were themed around his straw hat, but these were made of cloth and silk. "Well they are gonna be Straw Hats Pirates right?" Asked Luffy giggling. Zoro smiled and nodded as he showed them to Sanji who took one in his hands and traced the embroidery. "Oh Luffy. You all didn't have to do this. These gifts were expensive I'm sure." He said. "Wait.... Four? But how did? Chopper said three, why are these gifts of four?" Asked Sanji. His cubs moved around and made the chef shift about in his seat. Zoro kissed Sanji sweetly and rested his hand over their cubs gently.
