It was six weeks since the Strawhat Pirates welcomed their four new members and was already near Christmas. Sanji woke to the soft chime of his alarm and got up stretching. He smiled as he heard the cooing of his cubs. "Good morning my princes and princesses." He cooed and smiled at his sons and daughters. "Shh, I'm gonna get your bottles ready alright, don't wake your Papa." Whispered Sanji before he went to the galley. Once there he prepared four bottles and warmed them up to just the right temperature. After finishing up the warming of them he returned to their bedroom. Zoro was now awake consoling their first born son, Jacques. "Aw what happened baby?" Asked Sanji gently. He started crying shortly after you left." Replied Zoro. Sanji kissed his husband sweetly and gave him a warm bottle. Jacques sniffed a bit when he saw the bottle. "Guess he's just hungry." Said Zoro as he began feeding their son. Sanji smiled as he picked up their other son, Caspian and began feeding him. Nami and Robin joined them and fed their daughters, Sora and Tera. "Thanks for the help ladies, but you didn't need to wake so early just to feed them." Replied Sanji as he smiled.
"Are you kidding?! We love spending time with our nieces and nephews." Said Nami smiling. "They are quite cute too." Said Robin and smiled as she cuddled Tera. Once the babies were fed they were bathed, and changed. All four were soon asleep which let Sanji get himself washed up and begin preparing breakfast for everyone. Zoro moved the babies into the galley so they weren't far from Sanji. Nami and Robin watched them sleep while their parents cooked breakfast together. "Waffles sound good to you ladies?" Asked Sanji as he set down two plates with waffles and eggs. "Thanks Sanji." Said Nami and smiled as Robin set the table and Zoro placed some sausage and eggs on each plate. After breakfast was ready Sanji went to call the others but Robin only smiled and stopped him. "I'll get them." She said gently and used her abilities to wake the others up. Soon everyone was in the galley chatting amongst each other. "Hey, come to think of it, Christmas is in a few days, we should decorate Sunny for the cubs." Said Luffy.
"What? Oh no, don't worry about all that Luffy, besides they're too small to see anything on the deck anyway, their immune systems aren't ready for exposure to the elements, especially if it snows." Asked and explained Sanji as he held Sora in his arms. Zoro was holding Tera and smiled at his mate. "Here's an idea.... How about we decorate Sunny outside and then you two can decorate your bedroom." Offered Franky. Sanji kissed Sora's soft gold fluffy hair and thought about it. "That might work. Zoro?" He stated then asked. Zoro shrugged, "Yeah sure, why not? I think it'll be fun." Replied Zoro and smiled. Sanji kissed him sweetly. "So we need a small tree, one that isn't too big to fit in the room and not so small it gets knocked over." Said Sanji. Sora purred softly as she cuddled her mother. Tera cuddled to her father as she began to drift off to sleep. Luffy smiled at Jacques. "He looks like a mini Zoro." He said while the newborn looked up at him. Usopp smiled and looked at Caspian. "Yeah, and Caspian looks like a mini Sanji." He said while the newborn cooed. Sanji set Sora in her crib gently and smiled. Zoro put Tera beside her sister gently. "Let's get our son's before trouble and mayhem ensue." Said Sanji which made Zoro chuckle.
Franky was out on deck replacing Sunny's figurehead mane with a wreath. "Lookin' good there Sunny." He said. Chopper was looking up at the clouds above Sunny. "You think we'll see some snow?" He asked. "We might." Said Franky. Nami was with Robin making some paper snowflakes. Sanji was caught by Zoro after Jacques and Caspian were in their crib. "You should be resting Love, it's only been six weeks since their arrival, you're still in the process of recovery." Warned Zoro. "Yeah, you're right sorry. I thought I'd be okay after a few weeks." Replied Sanji as he cuddled to his husband. His body was still tired even with the enhancements he was still only human. Luffy helped Franky string up some lights on Sunny's deck. Jimbei docked and anchored Sunny. "We can get the trees from here." He said as Chopper went over. "I'll go tell the others." Said Chopper and smiled as he went to get everyone. Sanji was laying in his and Zoro's bed with all four babies while Zoro washed up. Sora was the spitting image of himself and his late mother. Tera looked similar to him, but with Zoro's tanned skin and light green mixed with golden hair. "My babies, I love you all so much." Said Sanji quietly. Zoro came out of the shower drying his hair.
The swordsman smiled at his mate and cubs asleep on the bed. It was almost noon when Sanji woke from his nap. He hadn't even known he'd fallen asleep. When he looked over he saw Zoro on the other side of their babies with his eye closed. He checked the time and cursed under his breath, he needed to prepare lunch for everyone. "Don't bother, Luffy gave me strict orders to be sure you rested." Came the deep voice of his alpha mate. "He what? Who will make lunch then? What about dinner?" Asked Sanji. "Calm down, the girls said they'd handle lunch and dinner. Our job is to decorate the room for our babies. Usopp and Chopper already brought the tree in. Now we just need to trim it and make it nice and pretty for our cubs." Explained Zoro calmly. Sanji sighed and nodded. "Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't be fussing over the Captain's orders." Replied Sanji as he smiled a bit. "Let's trim the tree while the babes sleep." He said. Zoro smiled and soon the two of them were done decorating the room and trimming the tree. However the rest of the crew came in quietly and added some decorations of their own, each placed an ornament that represented themselves in some way. Sanji smiled at the finished tree. "It looks beautiful, thank you all." He said. "We aren't done just yet Love, there are still a few more ornaments to add." Replied Zoro as he held out a gift box. "Open it Love, the last ones are inside." He cooed. When Sanji opened the box, tears filled his bright ocean blue eyes. "You got their handprints? Oh Zoro. Thank you so much, this means a lot." He said and kissed Zoro sweetly. They both took two and placed them on the tree. Usopp smiled and added one final ornament. It was a small frame ornament with the words, "My First Christmas" engraved on it, and in the frame was a picture of all four babies laying side by side. Now the decorating was complete and soon Christmas would arrive.
