"Where do you live now?" I ask them and they both look at each other.

"It's ok, mom! He knows!" Rose says and drinks another sip of her wine.

"We live in Neverland now. It's the only way we found that stops the aging." Tink answers me and I frown.

"How long did it take to become human?" I ask her and she smiles.

"Nobody really knows how long it takes. This isn't really a documented thing. Not every Pixie decides they want to become mortal!" She tells me but that answer doesn't please me.

"I understand! But still, how long did it take you?" I ask her and she looks at Rose with questioning eyes.

"The process was sped up by my pregnancy. I got pregnant, I think, 3 months after I stopped turning into a Pixie. 9 months later, I was fully human." My face falls off when she mentions the pregnancy. I look at Rose and she has the same look on her face. Tink notices our exchange and becomes worried.

"How long have you two been together?" She asks us and we both swallow and invisible lump in our throats.

"Three months." I say and finally make eye contact with Tink again. She looks very worried.

"And is everything ok with you? Honey, I thought after Bailey..." she says that name and the glass shatters in my hand, cutting my skin. My blood starts pouring out for a second but the healing process starts immediately. Rose's face becomes white again from the panic.

"No!" She whispers and tears gather in her eyes.

"Let me help you with that!" James offers me a cotton napkin and I quickly wrap it around my hand.

"It's just a small cut! I'll go home and bandage it!" I tell him and he nods.

"Rose, do you mind coming with me to help me?" I ask her and she nods.

I take her hand and we both walk outside. She immediately pulls her hand from my hold and rubs her face.

"This is a train crash waiting to happen!" She says and I grab her hand again, dragging her towards my house. She follows me, while mumbling stuff to herself. We step inside and I finally feel like I can breathe.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" She pushes me.

"Rose! Stop this shit! What's wrong with YOU? Why are you acting like a crazy person?" I ask her and she totally loses it.

"Because of you! My life is not my own because of you! I can't spend time with my parents without feeling needy and miserable because of you! I can't work! I can't function! I hate you!" She yells at me.

"Darling, you don't mean that!" I tell her and try to wrap my arms around her in and embrace. She cries and tries to push me away, but I shush her and still do it. She settles her head on my chest and continues crying softly, while I stroke her hair gently.

"I'm sorry!" I tell her and she sobs even harder.

"I never wanted to hurt you! I only ever wanted you!" I tell her and she raises her head to look into my eyes. Tears run down her cheeks and her lower lip is trembling. She looks so beautiful to me!

"You're the most beautiful woman I've ever laid my eyes on! You take my breath away every time you walk into a room! I can't stop thinking about you!" I tell her and she frowns.

"That's only the addiction speaking!" She tells me and I frown, not liking what she implies.

"Tell me you don't feel more! Tell me you don't have feelings for me like I have feelings for you!" I tell her and she gasps.

"I don't know..." she tells me and I frown. I don't like her answer!

"Yes, you know!" I tell her and she gasps. I let her go from my embrace and take a step back. I'm too angry, too horny, and I'm afraid I'll hurt her.

"Please let me wrap your hand in some bandages!" She says and I growl.

"Why don't you want them to find out I'm a vampire?" My voice booms through the entire house.

"Because I was supposed to marry Bailey! Because I loved her with all my heart! Because my mom will know about the whole Pixie/vampire addiction and will try to separate us! Don't you understand? She believes in true love! She will never accept anything else for me!" She yells back at me, crying miserably.

"And because you still love Bailey... she's the ghost that haunts our relationship." I tell her, feeling all hope is lost.

"What relationship, Tobias?"
