I take my purse and turn to leave, but I bump into someone on my way out. His hand reaches for my hip to help me regain my balance, and I feel a shiver washing over my body. The first thing I notice is his forearm mermaid tattoo. Then I raise my head and finally see his face. He is frowning, but even so, he looks mesmerizing. The curls, the blue eyes, the jawline, his lips, everything about him is perfect and alluring. I find myself completely hypnotized and unable to form a sentence. Am I that high? He's a guy, after all. His face comes closer to mine, and my heart starts beating faster. All I can look at are his perfect lips. What's happening here? Is he going to try and kiss me? Do I want him to kiss me? I hold my breath in anticipation, but then he slightly turns his head and stops by my ear.

"Are you ok, darling?" He asks me and I finally let go of the air I was holding. I feel even more lightheaded now and grab his forearm for support. His arm curls around my waist as he guides me outside, while that current sensation continues to spread throughout my entire body, making me hot.

"Hey, darling! Look at me!" He says as we reach the parking lot. His fingers reach for my chin and lift it up. He closely studies me and lets out a deep sigh.

"What's your name?" He asks me with a gentle voice.

"Rose." I finally manage to utter a word.

"So you do speak!" He says with a smirk on his face. Normally, I would snap and make a smart comment, but I can't do anything. I'm overwhelmed by the electrical current that travels in waves, starting from the place his hand touches my lower back and dispersing through my entire body. Am I that high, after all? I've never experienced such sensations when mixing V with alcohol.

"How much V do you have in your system, Rose?" He asks me and I gasp and frown. "Don't pout, darling! I can see it in your eyes, the subtle red circle around your pupils." He says and I shake my head and take a step back.

"That's none of your concern!" I tell him and lean against a car. At least I managed to form a long sentence and get away from his electric touch. What is happening with me tonight?

"Isn't it, now?" He asks, lowering his voice and looking into my eyes.

"Are you sure about that, darling?" He asks and I swallow an invisible lump in my throat.

Look away, Rose! Why can't you just look away? I keep thinking while I watch his lips curl into a sexy smirk. Sexy? What's wrong with me?

"I'm not your darling!" I finally snap at him.

"Are you sure about that?" He asks me slowly, and places his palms on the hood of the car, trapping me between his arms and body. What game is this? What's happening here?

"I don't understand..." I say as my eyes move to his lips and my body heats up. My lower abdomen clenches with need and I gasp at the realization. I want him! That's what I'm feeling, right now!

"You will, darling!" He says as his lips move closer to mine. "You, will!" He whispers and finally kisses me.

Tobias

I knew she had V in her system, and most importantly, I knew the source of the pills. I knew how intoxicating I must feel for her right now, but I didn't expect her to be as intoxicating for me as well. Her big eyes, her soft lips, her pale translucent skin, everything was luring to me. I thought it was all an urban myth, but now I'm caught in her scent and I can't walk away. I don't understand why, but I will figure it tomorrow, after I've made her scream my name until she forgot hers.

I kiss her with hunger while also trying to contain myself, to not lose control. She smells so delicious and tastes even more so. Her tongue dances with mine as her soft moans and gasps fill my ears. My grip on her hip tightens as I pull her closer to me. She kisses me even harder and wraps her legs around my waist, while I continue to ravish her in the middle of the parking lot, while she's sitting on the hood of my car.

I do a circle with my hips and she breaks our kiss, gasping loudly and throwing her head back. Fuck! She's so responsive to my touch! I start kissing her neck, licking her jugular, which is not the smartest thing I could have done. Her moan only makes me almost lose control. I decide we need to stop this game for the moment and move it somewhere else.

"Come with me!" I whisper against her skin, still kissing it.

"Anywhere!"
