"Okay kiddos, todays an early out. So finish up what you're working on and put it in your cubby. Don't worry, we'll have plenty of time Monday to finish it." I said smiling at my class. I taught 4th grade math at Washington Elementary School in the small town of Fairfield, Iowa. On average my classes only had 10-12 students. We were a small school, we couldn't afford to upgrade much so most parents sent their kids to Fairfield Elementary School. I loved my little school anyways, my class was a room for positivity. When I started I decorated the class with positive quotes, my favorites quotes are stated everyday in my classroom to my class. My favorite quotes are 'Todays a good day to have a good day', 'everyday may not be a good day, but there's good in everyday', and 'one small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day.' I love that there's so much positivity I can pass on to my students and I love how much my students trust me.

The students began to put their stuff in their cubbies and sat back at their desk. I had such good students in all of my classes. I saw a little hand raise out of the corner of my eye.
"Yes Jason?" I asked with a smile.
"Mrs. Y-M, Can you teach us all until we graduate so we never have to have a new teacher?" He asked quietly.
"As much as I'd love to watch you grow, my job is too help you grow the best I can until you move on to a new teacher who will help you grow. You'll meet great people along the way and every teacher has something new to teach you." I said. He looked a little sad.
"There's no need to worry right now, you still have half a year until you have to move on. So we'll just make the best out of the rest of the year!" I said positively. He smiled big. The bell rang stating school was over for the day, so we all got up and I held the door and said goodbye to all of my students. I watched as all the students flooded the hallways, excited to go home. I heard my phone begin to ring, I closed the classroom door and walked to my desk. I sat down and grabbed my phone, the name on the screen read 'Catalina.'

"Hey Cat" I said as I answered the call.
"Hey sis, I'm so sorry I'm going to have to cancel our lunch date today. A client is coming into town to look at multiple properties so I won't have time, but we can grab lunch tomorrow?" She asked.
"Yeah that's fine, I'll just head home and spend some time with my husband. That's a very rare occurrence so I'm sure he'll be happy." I said.
"I'm so sorry! I'll see you tomorrow, okay? I gotta go love you!" She said quickly.
"Okay love you" I said before hanging up the phone. I grabbed my phone, purse and keys before heading out the door and locked the classroom. As I reached my car I tried to call Grant but he didn't answer.
"Hey honey it's me, I was calling to see what you were doing. I love you" I said as I reached voicemail. I got in my car and made my drive home, when I pulled in I saw my best friends car outside.
"What's Naomi doing here?" I asked myself quietly. "Maybe she's at another house close by."
As I got out of the car, I had a terrible gut feeling. I walked in the house and it was silent. I put my keys and purse down on the table and took my shoes off before walking up the stairs. When I reached the top step I heard a noise. I knew I should turn around but I needed to see it for myself. I walked to the doorway and saw Naomi bent over on our bed naked while my husband, Grant was moving in and out of her. They were both moaning loudly.

"You have to leave her, Grant" Naomi said.
"I will but the house and cars are all in her name, she even keeps a separate bank account. We'll get nothing." He said as he slammed into her again. I stood there watching in shock.
"Well then we find a way to get the house and at least one car in your name and you leave her then we can be happy here together." Naomi said. I suddenly felt pain then anger. I walked into the room, as I approached them. They looked at me horrified.
"Adie, it's not what it looks like. I'm so sorry." Grant said as he scrambled to get off the bed. I walked to my dresser and pulled out my hand gun and turned it towards them.
"Woah woah Adelaide." Naomi said.
"What you going to try to lie so you can get the house and at least a car?" I asked loudly. They suddenly realized I heard them.
"Pack your things, both of you give me your house keys and give me my car keys and both of you get the fuck out of my house." I yelled pointing the gun for them to move quickly. Grant packed all of his things quickly as Naomi gave me all the keys. When they were done I walked behind them down the stairs and out the door.
"Adie please give me another chance?" Grant begged. I slammed the door locking it. I walked around the house making sure the windows and other doors were locked. I tried calling my sister, Cat but she didn't answer.
"When you get this please call me" I said crying into the phone. I hung up and called Sara, she was a close friend who also happened to be my doctor.
