Chapter 10

"Listen Adie, I know you're mad at me but can we please take you home?" Bellamy asked.
"If we can drop Sara and Cat off at their homes as well." I said.
"Of course. I'll drive, Bertram can take your car home." Bellamy said. I nodded handing him the keys. We walked back to the club leaving the man where he was and got Sara and Cat. Bellamy helped them get situated in the SUV before opening the passenger door for me. He shut my door before walking to the drivers side and getting in. I directed Bellamy to Sara's house and then Cat's house. After we dropped them off at home, Bellamy headed towards my house. When we arrived he shut the vehicle off and stared at me.

"What??" I asked.
"You're beautiful Adie." He said quietly.
"I'm sorry about this evening. I'm not usually like that I don't know what came over me." I said looking out the window.
"I'm not like that either. There really is nothing going on between me and Isabella. Her father is one of my families oldest business partners but his business is not vital. It's good for business but not necessary." He said watching me as if trying to read my mind.
"I'm not the jealous type. We spent a night together, we never made anything exclusive or anything as such so I don't know why I got like that." I said in a low voice with a hint of sadness. There was a long pause and the only noise was the sound of the both of us breathing.

"It's because you feel for me what I feel for you." He said looking at me but more intensely. "I have never felt any feeling for a woman other than lust but once I sleep with them or something that lust fades. I slept with you 3 times back to back and I have spent time with you and yet still I feel as if I have to be near you. As if I have to protect you. I'm not used to the feeling, it's a good feeling but it makes me nervous."
"I never felt this way before myself. Don't get me wrong I loved my husband but it wasn't passionate. He was my high school sweetheart, he was who I knew and who knew me. I'm honestly glad he slept with someone else and got caught. I just dread the day they try to take everything from me. They don't deserve anything, I worked hard for what I have." I said getting lost in thought.

"I won't let them take anything from you Adelaide." He said sincerely.
"I should get inside and go to bed for class tomorrow" I said.
"You don't have class the rest of the week. Classes are canceled for the week, while I find a new place to have them while we renovate. An email was sent out notifying staff and parents, did you not receive it?" He asked.
"I haven't checked my email since school ended. I would've been very confused come morning. Thank you for telling me." I said. We sat in silence for a minute before either of us spoke again.

"Do you want to stay tonight?" I asked. He looked at me surprised. "I'm a little nervous to stay alone. Plus Bertram can stay in the guest room or on the couch, it pulls out into a bed."
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Yeah, if you guys wouldn't mind?" I asked.
"Of course we don't mind." He said. Bertram pulled up in my car parking it in the driveway. Bellamy got out of the car and walked to the passenger side and opened the door. He helped me out of the car and we walked to Bertram.
"We're going to stay here tonight to make sure Adelaides okay. She said you can stay in the guest bedroom or on the pull out couch." Bellamy said. Bertram nodded and handed me my keys. We walked to the door and went inside.

I showed Bertram the guest bedroom, it was downstairs next to the living room. I showed him the kitchen, bathroom, and security system in case he needed it. Bellamy had gone upstairs to check everything out and Bertram checked the downstairs. After making sure Bertram had everything he needed, I went upstairs. When I entered my room I saw Bellamy was in my bathroom so I went to the closet to pick out some clothes. I needed a shower, I'm sure he needed one too. When I turned to leave the closet, I jumped because Bellamy was leaning against the doorway. He looked madly attractive standing in the doorway. I stood there watching him as he watched me. His eyes scrolled down and back up, his eyes held a look of desire. His gaze made me throb at my core.

"I'm going to shower.." I started with a pause. "Would you like to join me?"
"Are you okay with that?" He asked looking at me. I grabbed his hand and headed towards the bathroom. He stopped me at the doorway and he turned me towards him. He stared at me for a moment.
"What? You don't have to join me if you don't want too." I said curious. He didn't respond before placing his lips on mine in a passionate kiss. I melted into the kiss. The way he made me feel drove me crazy. He pulled back from the kiss.
"What was that for?" I asked quietly as I tried to catch my breathe.
"I just felt a need to kiss you. We can go shower now. But I want you to know that from now on I'm going to stick around for as long as you want me too." Bellamy said. I smiled at the thought of Bellamy being around. I nodded and turned back towards the bathroom. I turned on the shower to let it warm up and when I turned back around, Bellamy had gotten undressed already. My eyes traveled down his body and back up, when I seen the devilish grin appear on his face I felt my face turn bright red.
