I showered and made food when I got home before calling Sara. She didn't answer, I sighed and put the phone down. I began grading schoolwork, around 8:20pm my phone began to ring. I grabbed it quickly and saw it was Sara.
"Hello" I said. On the other end was loud music and people talking.
"Adie, can you hear me?" Sara asked.
"Yeah, what's going on? where are you?" I asked.
"I'm at that club. I'm super drunk I was hoping you'd come have a drink with me and give me a ride home?" Sara asked.
"Let me get dressed." I said before hanging up. I got up and put on a pair of skinny jeans, a white tank top, a pair of white heels and a tan pull over cardigan. I grabbed my keys, phone and purse before heading out the door. The club was packed when I arrived, I usually wouldn't go out of week days but my mind was struggling to focus on papers so maybe this will help. When I walked in I noticed Sara at the bar immediately, Cat was here too.
'I'm never leaving the club' I thought to myself."Adie!" Sara said as I approached them.
"Hey guys" I said quietly.
"Woah, i can't believe you actually came on a school night" Cat said looking shocked.
"I needed a drink" I said before flagging down the bartender.
"Can I get a tequila sunrise, with double shot of top shot tequila?" I asked him.
"Are you sure you want that much tequila?" He said with wide eyes.
"If anybody can handle that much tequila, it's her" Cat said to him. He retrieved my drink, an hour later I had downed 4 tequila sunrises and had moved on to drinking gin and tonic. I had just received my second gin and tonic when Cat grabbed my arm.
"What?" I said, looking at her.
"Bellamy is here. He was up there on the balcony but he's headed down now." She said pointing in his direction. I turned and downed my gin and tonic before walking in that direction. I fixed my hair as I walked confidently towards the stairs he would be coming down but I was not prepared for what I'd see when I came around the corner. When I came around the corner I seen Bellamy against the wall and a tan, blonde woman with a black mini skirt and a black tank top on. The woman was in front of him looking at him seductively, my stomach ached. Then I felt anger seep through my pours as I remembered my husband cheating on me, then the stranger I slept with and caught feelings for was in front of me with another woman. I turned to walk away and I heard Bellamy call out.
"Adelaide?" He said, I didn't look back.
"Adie, wait" he said. I could tell he was following me and I knew just how to make him stop. As I approached the bar, I saw a man in a business suit sipping on a drink. He was alone so I approached him and as he turned I smashed my lips to his. But it only lasted seconds as Bellamy came up and knocked the man off his stool.
"What the fuck are you doing?" He said looking at me with pure rage.
"No what the fuck are you doing? We are not be together. You bailed on our plans and got caught here with another woman. So therefore stay out of my life and leave me alone." I yelled as I turned to walk away. Bellamy grabbed my arm.
"Who the fuck is this?" The blonde girl asked as she walked over to us.
"None of your fucking business. Worry about your trashy spray tan and basement worthy boob job." I spat at her. I pulled my arm from Bellamy's hand and went to walk away again but this time the girl grabbed my arm and punched me square in the jaw.Suddenly Sara and Cat appeared out of no where, Sara took no time as she grabbed the girl by her hair and bounced her face off the counter. I laughed at the sight. I'd never gotten like this nor had I seen Sara get like that. I don't know what has gotten into me.
"Our business is done Isabella. I'll send the paperwork to your father tomorrow." Bellamy said before turning to me.
I wasted no time turning and ran towards the door.
"Adie" I heard Cat yell.
"It's okay, I got her" I heard Bellamy say. When I got outside the rush of cold air brought me to my senses. I was way too drunk to drive so I started walking towards my house. I heard a car behind me but I didn't bother looking. The car passed me and stopped before beginning to back up. I didn't recognize the car so I turned to walk back towards the club, the door opened quickly. I didn't recognize the man who got out, he stared directly at me and a chill ran down my spine. I ran as fast as I could, I could hear his feet on the pavement behind me but I didn't stop. I was almost back to the club when he grabbed me by my hair and dragged my backwards. I let out a squeal. Suddenly Bellamy and Bertram appeared out of no where.
"If I were you I'd let her go." Bertram said to the man."I'm just doing my job. Let me take the girl." The man said behind me as we stopped moving. I had a clear shot to get away. I took a deep breathe in and let it out slowly as I focused my mind, I used my left arm to solar plex the man with my elbow and he let go of my hair allowing me to turn as I drove my right palm upwards forcefully into his face. I felt his nose shatter and I believe his jaw popped on of its socket under the force of my palm. He fell to the ground with a whimper and I turned towards Bertram and ran to hug him.
"Are you okay? Let me take a look Adie" Bertram said as he looked me over.
"Did he hit you in the face too?" Bertram asked. I looked the Bellamy who was watching me.
"No. That would have been Bellamy's new girlfriend Isabella." I said as I looked away from him. Bertram let out a laugh.
"Why is that funny?" I asked him getting more angry.
"Isabella just does business for her father. Bellamy absolutely hates her but he can't ever tell her that because that'd ruin the business deal with her father." Bertram said.
"Not anymore, I broke the business deal off when she hit Adie. Granted after Sara appeared, Isabella left in a hurry to get to a doctor. I'm kind of glad Adie didn't hit her back though, I believe she would've been leaving in an ambulance after what I just witnessed." Bellamy said pointing to the now unconscious man on the ground.
