Monday morning
My alarm went off at 5am and I rolled out of bed and hopped in the shower. After my shower I went to my closet and pulled out my dark blue skinny jeans, dark blue tank top blouse with pink and white flowers and my tan cardigan. I put the outfit on and went back to the bathroom to put on makeup and curl my hair before I got my dark brown knee high boots and put them on. I walked downstairs and ate a protein breakfast with hard boiled eggs, cheese, almonds, blueberries and strawberries. Then I filled my stormy sea Stanley cup with coffee before heading out the door. I opened the door to my 2020 Volkswagen Passat and placed my coffee in the cup holder. As I sat in the drivers seat my phone began to ring, I looked at the caller ID and it said 'Cat' so I answered.
"Hey everything okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm headed to the school. The buyer is on his way, I just wanted to make sure you'd be there and hadn't forgotten." She responded.
"Of course not, I'll do whatever I can to convince him." I said reassuringly.
"Okay, we'll meet in your classroom. Oh and hey don't be surprised or get flustered but he's smoking hot." She said making me laugh.
"Okay, thanks for the warning." I said jokingly.
"See you soon, love you" she said.
"Love you too" I replied before hanging up and heading to the school. When I got to the school I went straight to my classroom to drop off my things and to get ready for class and cat and the buyer before class. As I was getting things set up there was a small knock on the door frame.
"You can come in, I'm sorry I'm just setting up a few more things for class today." I said cheerfully.
"Adie, it's Cat. I'm here with the guy who's buying the school. I wanted you guys to meet." She said as I was turning around. My mouth dropped open when I saw him.
"Hello Adelaide" He said in a deep husky voice."Hello Bellamy" I said with a small stutter. Cat looked between us confused.
"You guys know each other?" She asked even more confused.
"We met at that club I'm buying over the weekend." Bellamy said smirking. My face turned bright red as Cats mouth dropped open.
"You're the.." cat started before I smacked her arm.
"You talked about me?" Bellamy asked with a mischievous smirk.
"Umm.. only to Cat. She is my sister." I said quietly.
'Hmm..' he said as he looked to be lost in thought.
"So you're buying the school?" I asked, trying to professional.
"I just did. Your sister talked to up a lot when she was telling me about the school. She said I had to speak with you before I made any decisions." He said looking to cat and then back to me.
"Yes I think you should consider keeping it a school." I said seriously.
"I am considering that option but can you tell me why?" He asked curiously."If you kept this a school you would not be sorry. We have some of the best teachers from around the world, we don't get acknowledgment for our work but we don't care about that. We care about the curriculum and the students. If you want you can stick around for the day, talk to the students, watch the teachers work. When you see first hand how active our students are, how much our teachers care about the learning of our students, how much our students love our teachers and our school, I think it will help you decide." I said.
"That's an amazing idea Adie!" Cat said excited.
"What about the purchase of the club?" Bellamy asked.
"Well school starts in half an hour, they have breakfast first thing then we begin to dig in to our day. You can go do that first than come back and join us for the day." I said with a small smile. Bellamy smiled when I smiled causing me to blush slightly.
"That works for me if that works for you" he said looking to Cat.
"Of course, Mr. Rivera. Whatever works for you." Cat said professionally.
"Please call me Bellamy, I'm sure you've heard enough about me to call me by my first name" Bellamy said glancing at me.
"Actually no, I heard little I didn't even get your name out of her." Cat said smiling.
