The Billionaires Blessing

Chapter 2

"Hey Adie, what's up?" Sara said as she answered the phone.
"Can you come over?" I said crying into the phone.
"I'm on my way right now!" She said before hanging up. She was always there when I called and I loved her for that. As I set the phone down, I began to gather myself emotionally. Then I went through the house removing anything that reminded me of Grant including my wedding ring and boxed it up. When I was done I heard a knock of the door so I went to answer it. Before I could speak Sara's arms wrapped around me, I all of a sudden felt the flood behind my eyes come back.
"What happened? are you okay?" She said frantically looking around. I pulled her in and shut the door locking it again.
"Adie, why is your gun on the counter?" Sara asked nervously.
"Cause I pulled it on grant and Naomi." I said quietly.
"Woah what happened? Are you okay? You didn't kill anybody right?" She asked frantically.
"No, of course not. Today was an early out and I had plans with Cat to grab lunch but something came up so we rescheduled and I came home and found them fucking in my bed." I started before taking a deep breath.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry" Sara said.
"That's not even the worst part. I stood there shocked at what I saw then I heard them talking about how Grant couldn't leave me until the house and at least one car was in his name so they could take what I've worked so far to get on my own." I paused for a second "then I felt rage so I grabbed my gun and told them to pack his stuff, give me all the house keys and car keys and kicked them out."
"I can't believe Grant and Naomi would do this to you. You and Grant have been married for forever and Naomi has been your best friend since middle school." Sara said.
"I can't believe it either" I said quietly.
"What do you need me to do?" Sara asked.
"I need to change the locks, get a new security system and get that bed out of my house" I said crying.
"Okay, I'll call Zander. He and his friends can move the bed out and put a new one in. You call Majority Security, I go through them and can get you a deal. They're amazing they'll change all the locks for free if you buy a security system." Sara said pulling out her phone. I nodded and grabbed my phone, I called Majority Security. They were very nice and said they'd send someone immediately.

I took my gun and put it back upstairs. When Sara got off the phone she began to make some tea. She placed a cup in front of me, I took it and began to sip on it.
"Why don't you come out with me tonight?" She asked.
"I don't know, I don't want to be alone but I don't know if I should go out" I said quietly.
"Come out with me. It's Zander's birthday so we're all going out, it'll be fun and we can get your mind off of things for awhile" she said. I sat lost in thought for a moment, maybe it'd be good for me. I never go out ever, I could use some time to cool down.
"Why not. What do I wear though?" I asked quietly. Sara jumped with joy, at least she was happy. There was a knock on the door, Sara opened it. It was Zander and 2 of his friends. Zander walked over to me and hugged me tightly.
"Want me to kill him? I'll kill him or I'll lock him up. Either way I can manage to get away with both" Zander said in a serious tone.
"No, I just hope he rots in the life he chose." I said quietly.
"Well if you change your mind, just call me. On my way over the guys and I stopped and bought you a new mattress, we're going to take old one with us and burn it." Zander said. I nodded in agreement. Suddenly there was another knock on the door, I jumped. Zander answered it this time, it was Majority security.

"I'm here to put in a new system for Ms. Mendoza" The guy said.
"In here, bring what you got and I'll look at it" I said loudly. He brought in 4 different choices, I chose the most expensive. Sara gave him a card which knocked the price in half, when he was done he handed me new keys and explained the security system and then left. Zander and his friends changed out the beds and took the old one outside and loaded it in his truck.
"Thank you guys for everything, I don't know what I would've done without you" I said quietly.
"Of course, we're going out tonight you should join us" Zander said.
"I already asked her, she said yes we just have to get her something to wear" Sara said.
"Here it's on us, take the school teacher and make her look sexy" Zander said winking. We all laughed. Zander and good friend left and Sara and I took my car to go shopping. After arguing countless times I gave up and agreed to wear a tan 2 piece outfit. The top was a crop top tank top, it ended about 3 inches below my breast and the back was small straps that exposed most of my back. The skirt ended at my ankle but one side was cut all the way to the top with a few small straps attaching each side together, it exposed all of my right leg. I felt uncomfortable but I also felt very confident. We found matching tan heels to go with it. When we were done shopping, we retrieved Sara's car and my makeup from my house and went to her place. Sara curled my hair and did my makeup. I looked in the mirror when she was done and suddenly felt very sexy, I looked like a goddess.
