BETHANY'S POV
"Wait," I said to Axel.
"What?" he said."
"The scene isn't changing, there must be more to the vision."
"This is where the scene always ended for me."
A little girl enters the room.
"Ohhhh" Axel says.
"So it was a sister, not my mom."
"That part always confuses me."
"Axel," I say in a terrified realizing voice.
"I think, I think that I might be your sister."

AXEL's POV
That realization must be what my father was hoping for us to see.
"How?" is my first thought.
"Axel, all my memories were erased."
"Be careful, you don't have to explain. They'll hear."
"What were you going to say before?"
"I can't say it here."
"Afraid of the consequences?" she teased.
"No, I literally can't tell you. They control the simulations, remember?"
"Ah!" I'm jolted and I'm suddenly back in the basement.
"That's alright I can tell her."
"You'll wake her?" I ask Mr. Vellin.
"Sure why not?"
He escapes my view as he goes, undoubtedly to wake her from the simulations.
I tried to get out but the machines were made to hold us in.
"Here she is." Mr Vellin comes with Bethany in tow.
Her face is white with realization.
"Now you know what I was going to tell you" I joke.
She lets out a small laugh.
Mr. Vellin orders four of the Grimms to hold me.
He brings us to a small side room and ties us to some chairs.
"Just in case you get any ideas, let me remind you that if you mess with your bonds they will shock you. Bethany doesn't know what they are but, Mr Axel will you tell her?"
"If you move they shock you slightly. If you move a lot they will shock you unconscious. Also, the band on your leg will electrocute you unconscious if you leave the building as an extra precaution." I say bored.
"Ms. Bethany, it is time for another interrogation. This time, very very real. Your brother will be electrocuted every time you lie or don't answer."
Of course I have to be on the opposite side of the taser.
"Who do you work for?"
"Nobody."
"That's your one and only warning" I'm surprised he's even giving her a warning
"Let's try this easier. What's your real name?"
"Well, I'm actually called Bethany, but you should know that I don't know my real name."
"Good, why were you by Axel the first time?"
"What first time???"
I scream as I am electrocuted. How high do they have it? If they have it high enough I could be killed.
"Fine, why were you by him the second time?"
"Visiting my boyfriend."
Tears streamed down my face as it went again.
"It's only going to get worse" Mr. Vellin says as he sees Bethany's worried face.
"Turn it up two clicks please"
"NO!" I scream.
"Who are you working for?"
"Nobody," she sobs as I scream in pure agony.
"The next time you don't answer me he will be unconscious for a long time because of how painful it is. WHO DO YOU WORK FOR?"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," She sobs.
"Your answer?"
"No one."
I scream and then I black out.

AXEL'S POV
I am woken up by Will.
"Man, where were you?" he asks.
I don't respond.
"That bad?"
I nod.
Suddenly I'm back in the basement.
"Finally you're awake. I thought you were dead."
"I wish you were dead," I murmured.
"I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that."
"I want you to meet Ironhand, your personal guide for today."
Ironhand was a monster almost as big as a wrestler.
"Why? I didn't have one yesterday."
"Let's just say I think you'll be more hostile today."
Whatever that meant.
They released me from the machine and as sure as his name his hands were like iron clamping on my arms.
Bethany is already sitting in the room.
Her face is downcast and her face is red like she had been crying.
"We're going to try the opposite today."
"Wait what?!?" I yell
"You heard me, you'll be answering today."
"I won't answer any of your questions"
"We'll see about that"
"What is your relationship to this girl?"
"She's my sister."
"Correct, how did you meet?"
"At the bar."
Bethany screams, and my heart begins to beat faster.
"Where were you taken?"
"No where."
Her screams penetrate my heart like it's ripping my insides out.
"I would consider answering this question honestly. Who is the leader of the organization you went to?"
"I don't know."
This is the loudest scream of all. I fight against Ironhand's hands but they are strong and there is no way I can save her.
"Alright! I'll tell you!"
"No, Ax, you can't" Bethany pleads with me.
But I can't listen. I can't lose the one thing I have left.
"I'm listening."
"I met her in an alley. She took me into a huge building. They interrogated me, and I escaped. That's it."
"You're making this seem like some little thing rather than a big deal. Makes me wonder how much more you know." Mr. Vellin gestures to Iron Hands.
"Plug him back in, I want to have an interrogation, alone. Leave the girl in here. She can't escape."
On the way past Bethany I pretend to trip and whisper
"Your tracker."
Bethany hides her surprise well so Ironhands doesn't see it.
Iron Hands holds me in the machine until the clamps come.
"Go in," he says in a scratchy voice.
This time I succumb to the simulation.
Because we were unknown to the villains, I had just found a way to set us free.
