The Green-Eyed Man

Frank, Nico, and Jason were walking in the woods, trying to find any hint of the Herme kids.

"I feel like we've been wandering for like an hour"

Frank said as he looked up into the sky.

The sky was rippled orange, but slowly turning dark.

"Do we know where we're going?" Nico asked.

Silence.

"Hints of the Herme kids?"

Silence again.

Suddenly a shadow passed by us and we all turned to look behind us. There stood the man in a black ample cloak with a hood, Again, Jason saw his piercing evil green eyes staring right into his soul. He got the urge just to run away, there was no way they could beat this guy 10 times their speed. Jason started to panic, Frank and Leo were frozen in place too. They stared at him with wide eyes filled with horror.

The man slowly walked toward us, he got a closer look now.

His hair was sticking out of his hood, the color of jet black. He had dark skin and a scar slicing his right eye. Now that he got a closer look, the glow looked terrifying even though he couldn't see it., but he looked in a hurry as if he hid something. He had dark skin, but his bandages covered his eyes.

Jason felt a wave of nausea, this man was familiar to Jason, A blurry memory came to Jason, but quickly ran away.

The man kept approaching, the face of no emotion, but his eyes told otherwise. The glow of his eyes danced with pure blood lust and destruction. Jason felt the pressure of his presence, he couldn't move, he couldn't bring out his sword.

"H-hey" Nico tried to talk, but his voice couldn't work. It was too overwhelming.

The man was 1 foot away, and he realized this guy was the same height as him.

Instead of attacking Jason, the man just walked past the three who were shaking.

The man walked straight.

The three slowly pursued him.

"Why isn't he killing us?" Frank whispered.

"Isn't that a good thing?" Nico whispered back.

The man continued to walk straight, he stopped at an open circle where all the trees looked like they were backing away from something. Then the three realized, it was the Herme kids sprawled on the floor.

"What do we do?" Frank whispered.

Then we saw the man glance at us behind him and walk straight into the woods

We all quickly rushed to see 4 Herme kids sprawled on the floor.

"They're not dead, just knocked out," Nico said as he checked their pulses.

"No sign of injuries or blood," Jason said.

"We gotta carry them," Frank said.

"What about the hooded man?"

"Nico, we can't focus on that right now," Jason said as he glanced at the direction the man went.

Jason felt frustrated, he could leave Nico, Frank, and the Herme kids behind. He couldn't do anything when the man was right in front of him. His fist clenched.

Frank suggested he turn into a horse and carry them. We were trying to retrace our steps, but we were lost.

"Hey, can't I just do shadow travel"

"Didn't Will say not yet"

"Jason, it's an emergency"

The sky was indeed getting pretty dark, he glanced at the 4 Herme kids piled on Frank's "horseback".
