This is a fanfiction of the movie nimona, if you haven't watched it I highly recommend but if you're just here for some angsty gays, then welcome!
By the way the chapters may be short in the beginning as I get back into writing
If you are just here for the gays here's a few things you should know so you aren't confused
-nimona is set in a medieval/sci-fi world. There is a monarchy and knight's but also some very high tech stuff (like flying cars level of hight tech)
-All the characters in this are trans or somewhere under the trans umbrella
-the main plot of nimona (⚠️SPOILERS!!⚠️) is a commoner (ballister Boldheart, the main character of this fic) becomes a knight but on the night he gets knighted he was framed for the murder of the queen. This causes ambrosius (the other main character and ballister's boyfriend) to try and protect everyone by disarming ballister. (He cut ballister's arm of)
So
-ballister has a prosthetic right arm
-bal is very traumatized
-ambrosius is trying to make up for hurting ballister
-this takes place after the very end of the movie so ballister is trying to deal with everything that happened on top of accidentally adopting a kid, on top of trying to get used to living with his boyfriend
