Things have been going well between the two, bal tries his best to express what's wrong and ambrosius used his actions to show his devotion instead of his words. All had been well for about three weeks until bal suddenly went into a bout of silence. Of course ambrosius is used to this, if something particularly anxiety inducing happens bal has always shut down.

But now is different. This has been happening for five days straight. Bal had barley been talking, he's been more reclusive, he doesn't trust ambrosius to touch him and especially not his arm. Ambrosius begins to worry. He's tried talking but bal wont respond in any helpful way. It's like he's ignoring him but ambrosius knows he wouldn't do that.

Something has to change, bal is obviously falling into something bad, ambrosius won't allow it. "Hey bal" says the golden knight with a soft concerned smile on his lip. Bal glances up from his seat in the couch where he'd been scribbling onto a piece of paper. "Caaan I see what you're drawing?" He asks, sitting right there next to bal who shifts a bit to accommodate the two of them on the small couch. He shrugs simply, handing the book filled with drawings to his boyfriend. Bal takes his place in ambrosius' lap while he flips through the sketches. That all looks so beautiful, mostly nature, sketches of anything bal finds cool when they go on their walks. But what surprises ambrosius is the sketches of bal. He's not used to seeing actual people in ballister's style. He has to admit they look wonderful, he just concerned with the scribbling. When it comes to the chest or the arm bal will draw them then scribble it out with a red pen.

"These are wonderful" ambrosius says softly, flipping to another page with even more aggressive scribbles surrounding a crying figure. "You're so talented. He flips the sketchbook so bal can see the page he was looking at. "Do you think you could... explain this one?" He asks in a non accusatory tone but bal knows what ambrosius thinks. Any other person would just think it's part of the art. But ambrosius knows him. He knows something is wrong. Again bal doesn't speak, he just shrugs. Ambrosius sighs, closing the sketchbook, "your art is very good, bal. You're so talented" he says following with a kiss to the forehead to bal who smiles softly.

Ambrosius won't push it. He knows pushing will do nothing. Ball seems to be doing better, he's allowing ambrosius to touch him now which is progress. So they'll just have to work for it. Again ambrosius mumbles a soft "such a talented artist" to bal who blushes slightly. Bal hides himself in ambrosius' chest, smiling to himself.
