"So we finally did it, huh?" Audrey reveled in her words dreamily.
"Did what?" Luna asked innocently, stroking a sleeping Leanne's hair in her lap absent-mindedly.
"Love. We did it," Audrey smiled, looking at the scene surrounding her.
Leanne was laying in Luna's lap, sleeping. Pansy too was in Theo's lap, scrolling on her phone endlessly. Harry and Ginny were sitting beside each other, arms interconnected as they quietly whispered to each other. Ron was elsewhere but Hermione was texting him which was clearly evident due to the perennial blush on her cheeks. Cedric was also present, sitting beside Cho with his head on her shoulder. Audrey herself had Draco behind her, sitting back-to-back with him.
"I guess we did," Theo replied thoughtfully, smiling as he looked down at the girl in his lap.
"I never thought this would actually happen, you know. It's so surreal," Audrey murmured quietly, making almost all the members in the room smile.
"Stop this madness, I want to kill myself," Blaise complained as though someone were stabbing him with a knife.
"Shut up, Blaise. You'll find someone soon," Draco mumbled to his best friend.
"I hear Zacharias Smith has a crush on you," Pansy looked up, smirking.
"Huh? That's something," Blaise averted his gaze from the group, a dark blush tinting his skin.
"Look who's suddenly aw-so-nervous," Theo taunted, smiling smugly.
"I hate you guys," Blaise muttered, grinning.
"Group hug!" Audrey yelled, wildly gesturing with her arms to bring everyone in.
"Shit, Nott, Stop fucking pushing me," Ginny pushed him, making him fall down.
"Ouch, my arse," Theo grunted, getting up with Blaise's help. "Pans, tell Weaslette to be nice."
"Weaslette? I'll show you Weaslette," Ginny lunged forward towards him before getting stopped by Pansy.
"Guys. This is not what a group hug is," Audrey frowned disapprovingly, with her hands on her hips.
"Okay, fine." Ginny grumbled.
"Did you just push Luna?" Leanne's angry voice rushed from her throat, directed at Blaise.
"Not knowingly! Group hugs are awkward and difficult. Rosier has the weirdest proposals," Blaise retorted.
"GUYS!" Audrey shrieked, instantly allowing a blanket of silence to fall over the room.
She quietly opened her arms, making all her friends look at her in a defeated manner. They all came forward and reciprocated her action. And in that moment, Audrey felt truly at peace. A moment like this, a moment where all the people that truly mattered to her, all the people she considered her family, were together and happy. There was nothing she could not face with them by her side. Everything was going to be-
"Ew, your nails are way too long, they're hurting me."
"Shut up, your breath smells so bad."
"You look like a squished up pig when you're being hugged."
"A damn cute pig, I'll tell you."
"Atleast I have a boyfriend."
"You did not."
"I did nott."
