Her maid Penelope would comb her hair as she gossiped with princess Sappherina. "Oh my! That sounds horrible your highness! What did lady Roma do next?!" Penelope questioned. "She spilled TEA on queen Evergreens dress!" Princess Sappherina said with amusement. "Well, Queen Evergreen does deserve it, doesn't she your highness?" Penelope doubted.
Sappherina chuckled and said "She surely does.. I've heard she was the Izeabura king's side piece and broke off queen Charlotte's marriage with the king!" Penelope gasped and promptly said "I heard she had a secret child with the king too!"
While princess Sappherina and maid Penelope were giggling and gossiping, a guard instantly barged into the bedroom. Penelope and Sappherina looked shocked and gasped after what the guard said..
"My princess, please do forgive me for barging in so abruptly but please follow me! It is quite an emergency! and Penelope, please report to the servant's headquarters immediately!" Penelope was overwhelmed and did as told and princess Sappherina hurried as she followed the guard into her fathers study.
"Sappherina!" Said her father relieved. In her fathers study, her mother was standing with more guards by her side. "What's wrong father?!" She said with a frightened look on her face. "The kingdom.. the kingdom is under danger as the Esleothia kingdom has attacked our kingdom. So, we need to keep you safe. Soon, you'll soon be sent to kingdom Caesira. Though then, you will be kept safe at a refuge." said her father with worry.
"What about mother?!" "Your mother will be fine," king Lewis said with tears in his eyes. Sappherina could see her mother sobbing as the guards took her away. "But... why is she being taken away?! Papa!" Yelled sappherina. "It's a long story dear. Guards, take her away too. Make sure that she isn't spotted by the enemies.." ordered king Lewis with tears in his eyes. Sappherina was shocked when she saw her mother taken to the dungeon. "No.. no?! Papa!" said Sappherina with tears in her eyes as she was forced into the royal carriage.
She saw half the kingdom being killed by adversaries and the kingdoms knights fighting them. Princess Sappherina safely reached the refuge with her guards and saw people starving and ill. "Why did papa send me to this place?! Why not with mother?!" She said panicked. "Where's Penelope?!" She sobbed.
She stayed in her royal attire at the refuge the following days. She was sleep deprived thinking about her father, mother, her family. Princess Sappherina decided to go to the Mahowood shallows without any guard catching her. At nightfall, she sneaked towards the forest she was forbidden to go to. Her royal attire was mucky and stained as she ran through the forest.
When princess Sappherina saw the Mahowood shallows her face lit up with joy. "Oh wow, It's still beautiful.." she smiled looking at her reflection in the water. She the noticed a reflection of someone behind her. "Ah!" She screamed. The figure quickly held her mouth making her gently look at them. It was a man with brunette hair and in beautiful royal attire which looked like it belonged to a prince. In princess Sappherina's eyes, he looked handsome. "I.. uh.." she said withdrawn. "Oh! I apologise miss," he smiled nervously. "My name is Anthony, prince of Esleothia.." he said ashamed.
"I'm Sappherina.." She said nervously completely forgetting about the war. "Princess of Eldoria.." "Oh, I.. I'm so sorry about what my kingdom is doing to yours, um.." he said. It was like he had a love potion around him making Sappherina infatuated. No, no, It's.. I'm sure you're not like your father.." she smiled nervously. Anthony smiled at her and said "Why are you here?.. aren't you a royal?" "Oh! Papa sent me here.. to this refuge... due to war.."

"Why of course..." she said, happily.
"It's getting quite late...I have to go back to refuge otherwise, the guards will get suspicious of my disappearance.. Goodbye now! It was great meeting you, prince Anthony." she said, with a smile. "Oh what a shame then, goodbye princess Sappherina" He gets on one knee and kisses her hand which makes her cheeks a little pink. "Let's meet up here again, next nightfall?" he suggests "that sounds splendid!"
