9.

Flashback....

18 years ago,

There are some little boys playing in the park. They are playing football while all giggling and running. There are also mothers of them for watching their children. Almost everyone's mother were there except  the one, Neel the eight year old boy.

Neel knew his mother has been ill since his birth. And as a good boy he never complained about that why his mother not going with him park, the school and anywhere . He also had a sister who's is older than him. His mother and his sister , they both are like a two different directions. If one is south then other one is definitely north but theres a one thing that is same in both that they love Neel so much. And can do anything for him.

Neel's mother Maya, she was like living angel. Always wear smile on face, always talk sweetly to everyone. She was really beautiful even though she's sick. She has beautiful eyes smile and when she laughs she can't see a thing. She loves her family very much and always says that she has survived for so long only because of her family.

On the other hand Neel's sister, Nina, she is 6 years older than him. She was very conservative girl, always speak less, hard to approach type. In others words, she totally looked like his mother but she act fully like his father. She never express her feelings, but she always shows her affection and love by taking care of the people whom she love. She is totally different from their mother but she loves her little brother very much. And she is cool in her brother's eyes.

Yet amidst all this they were a very happy family, they support eachother. Neel and his sister Nina both are child, they still understood their mother's disease and always take care of their mother. His mother has a breast cancer. The doctor said that she needs full rest and all care from her family members.

But somewhere in Neel's heart he misses his mother even though they live together but he thought that only his mother can't enjoy her life. Only his mother can't see the sun shine or can't touch rain drops. He wishes everytime for his mother well being. There's always a thought runs in Neel's mind that how can he help his mother so that she can enjoy her life fully without any help of medicine. He wishes that he had magical powers so he make his mother all fine and healthy like before.

Neel's friend always makes fun of him that he has no mother if he has why don't she shows up here like other mothers. He understood her mother but deep down inside his heart he also wants to bring his mother to the park. He always wants to show others that his mother is more beautiful and smart than their mothers. So he decided. He decided to bring his mother to the park so  that he could show his mother to his friends as well. He kinda wants to show off and it is natural for such thoughts to come his mind, he was just a little kid.

For this, he had to ask his father first. His father, Dave has a strong aura like a typical head member of the family has. He is strict for everything but her wife is weakness of him. He always gets softens for her. Afterall they did love marriage. He never say no to his wife.

So when Neel asked him to go to the park with the three of them, he initially refused but when his wife told him that she also wants to go there he accepted their request. But Neel's father Dave couldn't go with them because he had a important meeting to attend.

Everything is ready. Due to Maya's illness, Dave made all kinds of arrangements for Maya so that she would not face any problem while going to the park and Maya would have all the medicines in case of need. But deep down Dave heart beating fast. He was sacared. But somehow he managed himself . He didn't wants to show this side of him to the kids or his wife. Afterall he was head of the family.

When they were ready Neel suggested that they should  take a family photo since they rarely get a chance like this. Maya and Neel , both were very excited but on the other hand Dave and Nina had a similar face, blank. Don't get them wrong they were intrinsically happy whatever was happening to them that day. They insisted their father to getting ready for their family photo and he accepted.

Anyone could tell their character by looking at that photo. It was so obvious. The two of them were so happy  as if they were getting all the happiness in the whole world and the other two were like someone made them work or didn't even pay them. That day Dave first time hugged their children and he didn't even know why he did that.

Its finally time to go to the park. The park was near their house to 5 minutes from the car distance. They arrived safely. Neel's friends were surprised to see his mother and his sister and found that they were really beautiful.

They all enjoyed there in the park. Neel glanced at his mother and she looked happiest women in the world and he felt relief that atleast he succeeded in giving her a little happiness. Then he looked at her sister Nina and surprisingly she was smiling then he took a photo of her without any late. He wished his father had also come with them so that he can also see his wife happy.

He realized that this is what it feels like to be happy.

Its getting darkening so they decided to go back home. They all were tired but still looked fresh because they were happy. They were walking happily towards their car , hands in hand.

Maya and Nina both sat on their seats suddenly Neel remembered that he forgot his camera in the park. He ran to the garden and started searching for his camera. After 5 minutes, he was returning with his camera when he heard a loud sound of something hitting. Hearing the sound, he got scared and started running faster so that he could return to his mother as soon as possible.

After seeing the scene in front, the camera slipped from his hands. His eyes opened wide and his heart almost stopped beating. And the next moment he could do anything, he collapsed on the ground.
