I got moved upstairs. The doctor said im healing well and should be able to go home either tomorrow or over the weekend. I cant wait to see my kids and go home and spend time with Kj. My parents only have another week in town before they are going back home so hopefully I have all my healing time to be with my little family.
I hear my wife voice so I get in the bed and fake sleep
Damir: Mommy, hes sleeping. Can he hear us?
Kaiyah: Yeah I think he can
Dynver: Daddy wake up, we here to see you
I tried not to laugh cause Dynver is so sweet but she said that so aggressively
Damir: Mommy can I have some time with daddy alone?
Kaiyah: Of course, come on girls we are going to stand in the hall
Damir: *Comes to the bed* Daddy, I hope youre okay. I want you to come home and teach my brother how to be a man. If youre not okay I will take care of mommy and the girls and teach Kj how to be a man
Keontae: *Opens eyes* Damir, daddy is fine. Daddy isn't going anywhere. Thank you for wanting to take care of mommy and your siblings but Daddy got it for now
Damir: DAD! Youre awake I got to get the girls and mommy. Dont fall back asleep
Keontae: Mommy has already seen me but yes go get your sisters
The girls come in and are so happy that im awake
Heiress: Daddy, are you all better?
Dynver: So you have to be here like mommy and then you can come home
Keontae: Yes, I'll be home soon.
The kids and Kaiyah visited with me for a while before leaving. I didn't realize how much this affected all of my family. Especially Damir I couldn't imagine leaving them.
Kaiyah POV
The next day
Adrienne: Alright Kaiyah, enjoy your time alone. You deserve it
Kaiyah: Okay Ma, but please call me if any of the kids need me for anything
Adrienne: Okay, im not but okay enjoy yourself.
I went to the unknown location that my mom had told me to put in the gps. When I got there it was a spa. I got a nice massage and pedicure. When I was done with that I called home to check in and she gave me another location. When I got there it was a random house ive never been to before so I called her
Adrienne: Yes Kaiyah?
Kaiyah: Mom, im here but who's house is this?
Adrienne: The Code to the door is 2049 go in and see.
Kaiyah: Okay
I thought it was strange that she knew the door code but wouldn't tell me who's house it was or what I was here for. I walked in and opened the door and it was decorated so nice

Kaiyah: *Screams* Oh my God, baby what are you doing here ? I thought you said you weren't getting released until Sunday *kisses him*
Keontae: I got released today and Mama A had said she sent you on a spa date I called my parents to pick me up and bring me here and I had called a friend of mine to come and set this up and sent your mom the address and door code
Kaiyah: Baby, this all so sweet. I'm so happy you're home. But now part of me wants to go home and we be a family of 6 together for the first time
Keontae: No honey . We are staying here tonight and we will go home and then I know we haven't been for a while but I think we need to go to church
Kaiyah: Agreed but I didn't want to take Kasaiah out until he had his shots
Keontae: He will be okay . Can't you put him in that little thing that he's strapped to your chest and then just don't let nobody close to him
Kaiyah: Okay , we can do that. So what are we going to do tonight since neither of us can do anything for real
Keontae: *laughs* I mean we can but I don't care just having time with my wife will be enough for me. Mama A said you were starting to get stressed so I just want to make sure you're relaxing and taking care of you as well
Keontae and I relaxed and watched each others favorite movie . Mine is Poetic Justice and his is Friday. We ordered food and enjoyed each others company before falling asleep ...
Keontae POV
Keontae: Kai wake up . I'm ready to go home
Kaiyah: Oh, that was the best sleep I've gotten in a while. I could sleep comfortably and I wasn't up every two hours to feed the baby and I had you to lay with. I didn't know how much I needed that sleep
Keontae: Good, now get your ass up. I want to go home and be with the baby
Kaiyah: *sighs* can't we just lay here for another hour? There's no distractions here. It's just you and I. We get to be Kaiyah and Keontae not anyone's Mommy and Daddy.
Keontae: How about another hour and when we are both healed I take us on a Kaiyah and Keontae trip. Just the two of us. No kids, phones only to check on the kids and just enjoy each other
Kaiyah: I would love that but how would the trip work ? I'm breast feeding
Keontae: You pump don't you ?
Kaiyah: Yeah but I feel like I haven't really been able to bond with Kj
Keontae: Well I think now that I'm home and you don't have to split the time between the hospital and being home you'll be able to
Kaiyah: I hope so.
We got up and did our morning routine, stopped at Pappys for breakfast and then headed home to the kids
The kids: Daddy you're home.
Keontae: Yeah daddy is home . Where is your brother ?
Heiress: Nana just took him upstairs to Granny Joyce
I went up to the guest room and seen my mom and baby boy.
Joyce: Welcome home son
Keontae: Thanks Ma, can I see my son?
Joyce: Yes of course. *looks at Kj* Kasaiah this is your daddy.
Keontae: *Takes him* Hi Kasaiah it's daddy. Daddy is so happy to be home with you.
Kaiyah comes in the room and sits on the bed next to my mom.
Joyce: Aren't you so happy your family is all together ?
Kaiyah: Yes, I'm sad that you and Pops are leaving soon though
Joyce: it's okay . We will be back soon or y'all will be in North Carolina to visit. I know yall want to see us again before the kids go back to school
Keontae: Hell yeah, I told Kaiyah I want to take her on a us only trip so y'all may be watching kids for us
Joyce: you know we don't mind watching the babies. Now it's getting Adrienne to share especially little man. She don't want to share him
Kaiyah: Mama Joyce, you just have to take him from her
Keontae: That's new, I'm glad the two most important women in my life are finally getting along.
