Kaiyah POV
We were on the phone with Mama Joyce, Pops and the kids. We where waiting for Dynver to come to the phone and she hasn't. Pops and Kj went to see where she was and we heard Mama Joyce tell Pops to hang up and call 911, the first thing I thought was maybe she she had gotten hurt somehow but when we kept calling back and not getting an answer I could feel in my spirit that something had happened to Dynnie.
Kaiyah: Babe, something is wrong. why aren't they answering?
Keontae: Dont worry, whatever it is im sure they going to get it taken care of and will call us back
I began pacing the floor of our room, he was trying his best to stay calm and keep me calm but I couldn't. I was ten hours away from my kids and there was nobody was answering me so I could know what was going on.
Keontae: Im going to try and call Mir, maybe he will answer and he can tell us with happened.
Kaiyah: Why didn't we think of that before?
We call Mir's iPad and he answers on the third ring.
Damir: Hello
Kaiyah: Stink, what happened why did Granny have Papa call 911
Damir: The ambulance had to come for Dynnie
Keontae: WHAT HAPPENED?
Damir: I went to get her so she can come and talk but when I went out there she was laying on the ground. She had red bumps on her too
Kaiyah: Did she have nuts? I could've swore we told your parents shes allergic
Keontae: We did, but where is Granny and Papa?
Damir: Granny is with Dynnie and Papa is making Kj a bottle
We finished the call with Damir and tried to reach Mama Joyce but couldn't. I was ready to hop on the next flight to North Carolina to check on Dynver. A part of me was mad that I was so far away but then I couldn't blame anyone because Keontae and I both needed this trip very badly.
Keontae: I'm already on it, im looking for the next flight to get to her
Kaiyah: Thanks, I hate we have to cut our trip short but I got to get to my baby. I wonder how she got nuts without anyone knowing and how long was she having a reaction before Damir came out. I know he must've been scared.
Joyce POV
Paramedic: Ma'am what is your relation to the patient?
Joyce: Im her Grandmother, shes going to be okay right?
Paramedic: We are doing everything to make sure shes okay. I have a few questions I know there's a lot going on but I need you to answer them as best as possible
Joyce: Okay.
Paramedic: Patients full name and Date of birth?
Joyce: Dynver Janae Williams and September 1st 2018
Paramedic: Thank you, you said shes allergic to nuts, does she have any other allergies that you know of?
Joyce: No, just nuts
Paramedic: Are you aware of her having any contact with nuts?
Joyce: *Getting upset* No, I made sure everything was out of the house before she got here.
I just know that Kaiyah and Keontae are going to never trust me again to watch the kids. Im trying to think of every way she could've possible gotten nuts. I just hope that her parents dont think I intentionally hurt her.
|Hospital|
When we got to the hospital they got Dynver all hooked up to the machines and checked her out. I sat next to her and held her little hand and said a prayer.
Joyce: Dear God, I am asking you to please save my grand baby and that she is able to tell me or somehow we find out how she got the nuts. I ask that you heal her body and that you forgive me for the way I treated her when she was younger, I didn't know what I was doing. I ask that you dont allow my daughter in law to change the way she feels about me and doesn't think I did this to her on purpose. amen
Some time passed and I stepped out to update Keon on her and also try to get a hold of her parents. Kaiyah and Keontae said they'd be on the next flight here. When I went back into the room Dynver was awake
Dynver: Granny why am I here?
Joyce: You had an allergic reaction, do you feel okay?
Dynver: My throat is itchy
Joyce: Oh, snowflake im glad youre okay. But baby how did you get the nuts? you know youre not supposed to have them
Dynver: I didn't eat nuts Granny
Joyce: Well how did you get them? thats the only thing youre allergic to. Did you eat something else
Dynver: Yes, Sissy's grandma gave me and sissy a unicorn cookie
I thought about it for a minute and thought about those soft sugar cookies with sprinkles and frosting. The package says "may have come in contact with peanuts"
Joyce: Okay, snowflake im glad youre okay but next time dont eat anything without asking a grown up.
I remember telling Sarah that Dynver is allergic to nuts I dont want to think that she would intentionally hurt a child but who knows shes been acting different lately she may have. Dynver was sleeping again I went and called Sarah
Sarah: You finally decided to call me and say youre wrong about how you treated me at your house earlier
Joyce: Hell no, I am just calling to check something
Sarah: Oh, Heiress is fine. If thats what you wanted you could've called her Ipad isnt that why her dad made sure she brought it?
Joyce: Im glad that Princess is doing fine but im calling to ask you did you give Dynver a cookie?
Sarah: *laughs* Oh yeah I did. I gave her and Heiress one before we left
Joyce: Sarah the package says may contain nuts and I told you shes allergic. I now shes in the hospital.
Sarah: Aww, now you care about her? I remember you use to hate her
Joyce: This isn't funny? Why would you do that to my grand baby? well jokes on you her parents are on their flight here which means they'll be picking up Heiress when they get back so you just cut your visit with her short

Keontae and I just got to North Carolina and before I did anything else I had to get to the hospital to check on my daughter. When we got there Joyce had told me that she had gotten a cookie from Sarah and thats where she got the nuts from. I wanted to be pissed off but I had to focus on my child at the moment.
Dynver: Mommy and Daddy why are you here?
Kaiyah: Cause Dynnie you had to go to the hospital mommy had to make sure you was okay
Dynver: Okay, well I missed you
Keontae: You know what, you missed us so thats what happened
Kaiyah: I missed you too Dynnie. You had mommy scared
Dynver: Sorry Mommy
After visiting with Dynver for a while Joyce pulled me out of the room to talk to me
Joyce: Kaiyah, im so sorry this happened I feel like Sarah did this on purpose and im so sorry I hope you didn't loose your trust of watching the kids
Kaiyah: What makes you think that? And of course not I dont blame you accidents happen
Joyce: Because she knows that shes allergic and still gave her that cookie
Kaiyah: Okay we will take care of that later, but dont worry Mama Joyce we will take care of her later
