A Demanding Coach

Ever since I was little, I was always interested in anything athletic, more specifically, swimming. I would always practice and try my hardest to be the best possible, even if some people try to bring me down. I'm fortunate enough though that I have a very supportive girlfriend, however lately I've been feeling guilty of keeping a big secret from her. My name is Rin Murakami and I go to Nishikyō high school.

I woke up on a school morning from the alarm blaring off my phone. I yawned and turned it off, stretching my arms past my head and rubbing my eyes. I slowly rose from my bed and pulled my blanket away. I left my room and went to the bathroom to freshen up for the day. After brushing my teeth, I ran a comb through my black hair, straightening it out. I grabbed my hair tie and put my hair in a side ponytail on my left side. I let out a sigh and walked by to my room, undressing myself and putting on my school uniform. After I changed, I left my room and closed my door, heading down stairs.

My parents aren't together at the moment, so I'm living with my father, who's barely home at all. I sighed and began to make my own lunch. After packing everything up, I sat down with my breakfast and wolfed it down. I got up and took care of the things I used and made my way to the front of the house. I tugged my shoes on and looked back at my home. I took in a deep inhale, then exhaled. I twisted the knob and pulled the door open and walked forward.

I closed the door behind me and left my house, walking on the street to school.

Halfway to the school I saw Kaede, my girlfriend, and her younger brother Akito. "Morning Rin!" She said cheerfully.

"Morning." I said back.

"Ready for another fun-filled day of learning?" She asked.

"I wouldn't call school fun." I said.

"Yeah fair enough. School's not for everyone."

We kept walking and talking and eventually made our way to the school. Akito was quiet all the way through as usual. He parted ways with us as his school was close by to ours.

"Now that the kiddo is gone, heh heh." Kaede uttered. She immediately turned to me and threw herself into my arms, our faces very close to one another.

"K-Kaede!" I could easily get lost in those beautiful hazel eyes of hers, but it was too early in the morning for the two of us to act all lovey dovey.

"Hehe! I love seeing you flustered! I'll see you at lunch as normal, okay?!" She shouted running on ahead in.

I puffed out my checks and scowled. I let out a heavy sigh and slowly walked into the school yard. I headed on in and switched out my shoes, shoving my home shoes into the locker and made my way to my class.

It was time for lunch. I got up from my seat and wandered out, heading to Kaede's class. When I got there, I saw that she wasn't there. I cocked my head confused and asked one of the students where she went.

"Oh, our teacher asked her to help with something. I'm sure they'll be back before the end of the break."

I thanked her classmate and left the room. I went back to my classroom and sat down eating lunch by myself. Unfortunately, HE had to come in and ruin everything.

"Hello Murakami-san~!"

The man at the entrance was middle aged. He had greasy black hair and a punchable face. His brown eyes were full of lust and cockiness. He was my swimming coach, and the cause of my dark secret. He walked up to my desk as if he owned the place. The bastard came at a perfect time for him since no one else was around to see him.
