(this is a continuation of "The Flower Boy." If you have not read it, I would suggest doing so. Also, Haruka and Nakamichi are OC owned by EthanPPJ, who's twitter can be found here: https://twitter.com/EthanPpj

Nakamichi lived alone. Every morning he would open his eyes and lift himself perfectly straight in bed. He carefully moved the sheets away as he got up and left for the bathroom. He looked at himself in the mirror. It was the same bored and depressed face that greeted him every morning. The front of his black hair almost going past his grayish brown eyes. He sighed and cleaned up and went back to his room to get dressed. He grabbed his glasses near his nightstand and rests them upon his nose and pushed them up slightly. He looked at the picture frame resting on his nightstand. It was of him, a woman, a young boy, and a young girl. His head hung low as he sighs, leaving his room. Pulling his suit sleeve onto his arm, he slowly made his way downstairs and went into the kitchen. He started to brew his coffee as he took out a box of cereal, a bowl, and a bottle of milk. He poured the cereal in first, then the milk. As he set the bowl down, the coffee machine whirred to a stop as the last drop of coffee fell into the cup. He grabs his cup and sits down, munching on his breakfast.

He cleans up, putting his dishware into the dishwasher. He took one last gulp of his coffee and put the cup in the dishwasher. He walked over to the entrance of his house and sat down. He put his shoes on and stood up. Grabbing his case and his car keys, he twisted the knob and pushed the door.

He squinted as the harsh beams of sunlight met his gloomy face. He walked over to his car and started it. He got in and placed his belongings on the passenger seat. He shut the door and gripped the steering wheel, "Time for work." He said in a deep, yet calming tone.

On his way, he was stopped by the traffic light. He looked in the rearview mirror and saw two people on a motorcycle behind him. He pushes his glasses up on his face as the cyclist pulls up next to him. His glasses half fall from his face as he saw who it was.

The rider was a woman with white flowing hair and a floral pattern duster. Behind her however was a meek young lad with pink hair hugging the woman for dear life. He opened his eyes and looked to his left, meeting the gaze of Nakamichi. The young lad gasped.

"Professor Nakamichi?!"

"Mister Kobyashi?!" He responded back.

"Someone you know, Haruka?" Asked the white haired woman.

"He's one of my teachers."

"What a pleasant surprise!" The white haired woman turned her head to look at him, "I'm Maria, Haruka's girlfriend. Hope he hasn't caused you any trouble."

"Oh. Not at all. Mister Kobayashi is an excellent student."

Before the three could get in another word, the light turned green. Maria smirked, "Since we're going to the same place, let's race and see who gets there first!" Maria said jokingly. She gripped her handlebars and revved up her bike as it rode down the road.

"Ah, wait!" Nakamichi fixes his glasses on his face and pulls up his window and presses the gas pedal, riding down the road.

Minutes later, Maria stopped in front of the school gates and let Haruka off, "T-That was reckless of you to do."

"I meant no harm about it Haru. Don't worry. Just a little fun." Maria said.

"B-But I don't want you to get into another accident."

"I love that you worry about me like that." Maria goes over and kisses Haruka on the forehead and pats his head, "Gotta go. Love you."

"Love you too," Haruka said, waving.
