Chapter 35

"It is so cold," Jin said, getting inside the camp but taking his padded jacket off and placing it over Y/n's who looked at him in confusion. "What are you doing? You will freeze." She said, glaring at him while she was drinking the hot chocolate that he made for her.

"I am trying to induce heat in my nanobots so that I can stay warm. You take all the jackets." He said, flexing his muscles through his white T-shirt." Jin, you are crazy. It is literally snowing outside. Don't be stupid and wear the jacket." She argued but he pouted at her.

"Drink the hot chocolate instead of lecturing me, butterfly. It is getting cold." He said, pointing at the cup. She sighed and sipped on the hot drink that relieved her throat as it flowed down her throat.

"How long are we going to stay in this camp?" he asked her, sitting beside her and hugging her shivering form and she looked at him in surprise, feeling his warm body against hers. "Wow. You are warm indeed."

"Yeah, I know that I am hot," he said, flipping his non-existent hair and smirking at her who just rolled her eyes but finished her drink. "You know, I could have just drank alcohol instead of these hot soups and flavored milk that you are serving." She said and he scoffed, moving his head back to mock her irritated facial expression.

"No, I am not taking any risk. You are having what I give you and my body warmth is more than you will feel after drinking alcohol so just keep your mouth shut, woman!" Jin said and Y/n giggled at him. He smiled at her but decided to ask her why she was laughing.

"You really have become one of us now, huh?" She asked, running her fingers through his hair to ruffle them slightly. "I do. I am an Earth Lander too now. Anyway, you didn't answer my question. How many days are we staying here?" He asked and she showed three fingers.

"Three days, we will be walking to some nearby glaciers and yes, that is it." She said, nodding diligently. He circled his lips as he listened to her. "After that where are we going?" He asked her and she smiled brightly.

"Back To Seoul."

She said and lifted her cup upwards. "Can I have some more? I loved this." She said and he smiled, taking the cup from her hands and standing up from the small stool. "Jin, wear something warm. The people from the next camp will think, you are crazy or something," she said, standing up from her stool and taking his jacket off her but he stopped her.

"They went to see something far away. I saw them just now," he said, walking towards the exit of the camp they booked. "Oh? They aren't here?" Y/n asked, following Jin out of the camp to walk towards the campfire that was still burning.

"Yeah, we were running out of logs so the men said that they would bring logs on their way back here." He said and Y/n bent down to use her gloved hand to take snow from the ground and eat it.

"I love eating snow." She whispered and Jin placed the saucepan with the milk on the fire to heat it up again. He walked to her and fixed her woolen cap and neck warmer. "Stay warm and stop eating snow! We literally step over them!" He slapped her hands away and she smiled at his annoyed face.

"Jin." He looked up at her, raising his brows as she tilted her head cutely. "Why do you love me?" She asked and he smiled at her instantly as he squished her cheeks holding them in between his palms as he placed a kiss on her lips.

"Because you are my butterfly. My Galaxy." He said and her smile widened. "But you know this is a tragedy, right? Loving a sick person like me is a tragedy." She said and now Jin felt that her smile was bitter. He shook his head as he looked deep into her eyes, his hands gripping her face gently.

"It is never a tragedy to love somebody."

She scoffed and stuck her tongue out at him, causing him to giggle at her cuteness before he released her face to check up on the milk. "You and your cheesy lines." She said but suddenly frowned, her smile fading as she looked at the ground blankly.

Jin chuckled at her remark and released the saucepan which still didn't warm up the milk as he took a deep breath, looking up at the dark sky which wasn't dark anymore. His eyebrow furrowed, his hands sliding down from his hips as a piece of information popped up in front of his eyes like a projection.

Northern Lights.

Jin's lips curled up at the sight of the incredible view right in front of his eyes. Watching the lights flicker and dance across the sky, swirling through a kaleidoscope of color that illuminated the dark sky as he lifted his finger and pointed it to the sky with an amazed look on his face.

"It came early." He heard Y/n behind him and he nodded in delight as he stepped forward, close to the edge of the frozen lake as he admired the beautiful sky and agreed with Y/n. "Yes, it came earlier than usual! Wow! We are so lucky! The Aurora is here, my butterfly!"

"Jin." He turned to her calling out his name but frowned, his smile falling along with his heart watching Y/n not looking up at the sky but at her hand. She slowly moved her hand up, showing her bloody palm to him. Fear coated all of his systems as he looked up at her eyes with his big ones but gasped, covering his mouth, eyes filling up with tears when he watched her cough but spit blood with it as she looked into his glistening eyes, shaking her head and whispering,

"I am not talking about the Aurora."
