She snickered with Sirius as James approached them, a menacing scowl directed at Sirius. She couldn't help but laugh, he takes Quidditch really seriously.

"Padfoot! What the fuck was that! You swore you wouldn't do it on the pitch!" He yelled, approaching the other marauder.

Odessa wanted to save her friend from James' anger that was boiling over. She also wanted to show her appreciation for making her first game special. It'll be okay just this once, just don't speak. She decided. She ran up to James as he approached the two of them and dove into him, her arms outstretched.

The running girl took him by surprise, but thanks to his quick reflexes he managed to open his arms and catch her as she collided into him, only stumbling back a few steps. He was taken aback, she always stiffened whenever someone touched her, and yet here she was, voluntarily colliding with him. He carefully placed his arms around her waist and relaxed into the small girls embrace. "Thank you James. You really made today special for me." She spoke gingerly.

He smiled, "of course Sunshine. I promised you, didn't I?"

The after party was set in the Gryffindor common room, the paining of the fat lady remained open all night for people to come and go. Only an hour or so in, Odessa got tired and decided to just relax on the sofa. Not long after, Sirius came and sat beside her.

"What'sa matter, Dove? This party not entertaining you enough." He joked, taking another sip of his butterbeer.

"No, I'm just not one for big parties." She assured.

"Then why're you here?"

"For you guys." He stared blankly at her.

Sirius then laid down, resting his head on her lap. She stiffened slightly, though he didn't seem to notice. "You're too good for us. Are you trying to punish yourself for whatever you did to end up there by hanging out with our crew?" He asked jokingly.

"There?"

He peaked an eye open, "Azkaban? Surely they weren't all that great to you there. I think you've suffered enough."

Her face adorned a sad smile. "No, I have much to make up for. I've been too greedy. I'm hanging on to you guys. And Azkaban wasn't all that bad either. I think I still have a lot to make up for." She argued softly, moreso speaking to herself.

"What did you do to end up there anyway? Must've been something intense to make half the school scared of a little birdie like you." He laughed, flicking her nose.

"I don't think anyone outside of my family and the ministry know what happened. Honestly I barely understand what happened. I think people are just scared of the idea of someone dangerous being in the school, which is understandable." She told him, avoiding the main question. Luckily, it seemed he either didn't realize or didn't care.
"What're you doing relaxing on the couch? I know for a fact you enjoy this sort of scene." She joked.

"Avoiding Marls." He spoke blankly.

"Why would you be doing that?"

"Cuz he knows the on-off won't last. I'm surprised he even entertained starting up again in the first place." Remus answered for him. He pushed Sirius' legs to the side, forcing him to sit up. "Honestly at this point, I'm starting to think you don't even like girls. Maybe you're actually into guys and are just using Marlene to keep the other girls off your back." He joked.
