Odessa woke up early that morning to prepare. Despite the unusually warm start to the September morning, the young blonde felt more comfortable in longer clothing that day. She didn't feel like standing out, so she decided on a black long sleeve shirt the clung comfortably to her frail figure. She accompanied it with some simple leggings and made her way over to the mirror. Her hair wafted behind her as she set it in a high ponytail. She stopped short of what she was doing to examine the marks that were previously hidden by her hair. She held her hand up to touch one of them before reaching for her concealer; She had hoped such cosmetics would not be necessary, but she couldn't risk anyone noticing. They might think her father treated her poorly, and she couldn't possibly ruin his image.
After covering up, Odessa decided instead to take down her hair and adjust it around her marks. Makeup could only hide so much. After that, she began dragging her stuff downstairs so she could bring it out to the car before her father awoke.
It wasn't a lot, but with how heavy the trunks were, and how unusually warm the temperature was, Odessa was positively sweating in her attire after packing everything up. Still, she insisted on her long outfit, convincing herself it would get colder like it always did.
She headed back inside to see her father already coming downstairs to go. "Ready, Morgan?" He asked the girl. Despite making her take a cab the year prior, Odessa's father insisted on driving her to King's Cross that morning. Perhaps it was to ensure she did not swap out the wands, or some other unknown reason, but Odessa chose not to ponder too long on it; he was in a good mood, best not mess with things.
"Yes, father. Everything is all packed up." She assured the man. Following out of the door behind him, Odessa snatched up the long black coat she had never managed to return before locking up the house. So what is she was practically burning alive? She wasn't just going to leave Regulus's coat at home all semester.

The young girl had felt a tad bit overwhelmed in the train station that morning. Perhaps it was because the place was a bit too crowded for her liking. She knew she would have to find her way to the platform alone; at least this time she knew where it was.
She was surprised her father insisted on accompanying her all the way to the platform. He told her of how he regretted not taking her the year prior. How kind of him.
As Odessa approached the wall between platforms nine and ten, she looked over at her father who began looking around at all the passer-bys. It seemed he was well aware of the secret entrance.
"Don't do anything out of hand." He warned the girl. What sweet parting words.
"I will not father, I promise." She nodded, assuring the man. She would be careful, she would be sure of it.
He nodded in approval at her response. It seemed she was finally learning. Before he could give her further warnings, a tall, bushy haired boy with copper-rimmed glasses made his way over to the father and daughter duo. Following eagerly behind him were the middle-aged couple with warm welcoming smiles she knew well.
"Odessa, how lovely to see you again." Euphemia greeted warmly.
She nodded her head and gave the woman a polite smile. "You as well, Effie." She grabbed hold of her own wrist, ensuring her sleeve would not fly upward- despite the fact she had another long sleeve underneath.
