"Just going to stand there are you?"

Kimiko jumped, cursing herself silently for not remembering his six eyes. She wasn't sure why she was so caught off guard, maybe because she had been planning to stand there and watch him for a bit longer.

Ignoring his question, she slowly stepped across the tile floor and made her way to the sliding door which led out to the balcony.

Goosebumps immediately ran down her skin, the air much chillier outside.

"The shower's free." She announced, her hand pulling the spare chair out as Satoru nodded and stood up from his.

Kimiko changed her mind last second before sitting down and instead walked to the railing, her fingers resting on the bar for support.

They had a perfect view of the beach and the beautiful scenery around the hotel since they were one of the top floors. It made the balcony quite nerve racking if you got close to the edge, but Kimiko liked scaring herself.

A small smile tugged at her lips as she gripped onto the railings, the cool metal tingling her skin and the bitter air blowing through her hair, helping it to dry. Her heart already was racing from the height she was at, it was almost thrilling. If she wasn't worried about being seen, she would of stepped off and walked through the air with her cursed technique by now.

She loved holiday places, mostly because there was always less curses there. People were always happier on holiday, which was probably the reason for it.

The creak of a floorboard alerted her and Kimiko span around to see Satoru, fresh out of the shower, seemingly completely unaware that he had scared the shit out of her, her heart pounding even quicker now.

He was mid yawn, his right hand scrubbing his hair with a towel to dry it, his hoodie unzipped and revealing his still slightly wet abs, water droplets resting on his pale skin. His muscles flexed with each motion, the visible tan of his skin noticeable now that he had washed off the sand, his white hair slicked back.

Not wanting him to know he scared her, along with a few other reasons, Kimiko hurried to face the beach again, her hands tightening around the rail. The wind was on her side for once, blowing her hair out of her face and behind her.

Wincing as she turned back around due to her burns, she could sense Satoru stop at her side instead of sitting in his usual seat, his tall frame visible out of the corner of Kimiko's eye.

"Don't let Suguru see those." Satoru spoke up, motioning to her red skin, "He would go mad." He lightly chuckles, his eyes following her every move as he too leaned on the railings, a small grin tugging at the corners of his lips.

I nodded, sighing as if I could already sense the lecture to come. Suguru was smarter than me, but I hated listening to him and letting him think he was right.

"Here, let me help. I don't want you in pain the whole time on the plane." He rolled his eyes jokingly, walking back into the hotel room and disappearing for a few seconds before returning with a bottle. "Might sting a little." He warned gently, his blue eyes locked on hers before he nodded for her to face away from him.

I faltered for a second before doing as he said, deciding to let him help, my gaze fixating on the sky as I felt his presence close behind me.

He put some of the cream on his hands, rubbing it between them before his arms moved up under my shirt, his fingers brushing against the skin on my back, a small gasp releasing from my lips at the cold sensation of the cream and his touch.

Satoru applied the cream in long, gentle motions, his eyes wavering over her as they took the time to examine her bare back. Kimiko could immediately tell he was in no rush to finish, working his way slowly down her back.
