The body that Satoru had imploded was no where to be seen, but Kimiko was certain that that was nothing more than a scratch to the cursed spirit.
Now they just had to guess whether it would wait for them to attack or not. It had the advantage since they were in it's home, but Kimiko had Satoru with her, which meant that no matter what, they had the better advantage.
"Oh come on, I'll get bored soon." She moaned, rolling her eyes as she walked into the centre of the room, her eyes once again forming into glass.
She used them to examine the room while also to protect herself in case it did decide to catch her off guard.
But it was either dead or shy, because everything had gone quiet. Any traces had disappeared and there were silence in the air, the only thing that could be heard was dripping of water from the ceiling which Kimiko assumed was from a leak.
"He's still here." Gojo spoke up, confirming it with his six eyes.
Kimiko could feel herself growing impatient, she was exhausted and hungry. It was hard to not think about what she was going to eat when they got back and instead focus on the situation they were in.
She twisted around to face Satoru, opening her mouth to speak.
But before she could, he jumped towards her, yelling something she couldn't distinguish before he pushed her down onto the floor, falling with her.
Kimiko widened her eyes and went to shout at him before she caught sight of what he had seen before her.
The small holes in the walls had suddenly enlarged and began shooting out loads of tiny arrows which would of easily taken her head off.
Both him and Kimiko laid stiff on the floor while they waited for it to be over, though that was unclear since the speed of the arrows were beginning to speed up.
Kimiko turned her head to Satoru, their eyes locking with worry clear on each of their faces, Gojo less than Kimiko. There was actually no need for him to hide with her since his infinity would protect him, but he did nevertheless.
Before they could even process the holes in the walls, a new faint sound caught their attention and Kimiko snapped her attention to floor, her skin turning pale as more holes began to form underneath them.
"Fuck!" She yelled before feeling Satoru's arm on her once again, pulling her with him as he rolled to the side to avoid the arrows, narrowly missing them as they began to shoot out of the floor and hit the ceiling.
Kimiko was now laying on her back, completely frozen with Satoru hovering above her, his arms either side of her head while he covered her body, the arrows bouncing away from his infinity.
While he kept his focus on the holes, Kimiko kept her focus on him. She used him as a way to ignore what was going on around them, examining each feature of his that she had never noticed before.
His lashes were even longer than hers, the white colour of them catching her attention and drawing her into his blue eyes which she found herself unable to pull away from. He wasn't wearing his glasses, which gave her a better view of his face than usual.
And soon enough, everything returned to normal around them and Satoru finally relaxed, but Kimiko didn't move. She was still completely frozen and didn't dare say a word, she just laid there and waited for him to move.
Satoru pushed himself off of her, standing back up and brushing it off, looking much calmer than her.
But when he realized she had still yet to move, his face paled and his expression contorted, "Shit, did you get hit?"
