What the fuck is this place?..
Colby couldn't help but fail at containing his gaze, his beautiful sky-blue eyes looking around the dark room. The walls were painted a dark grey, and small, shriveled posters hung around them. Boxing gloves hung on the sides of the walls, dumbells and punching bags littering the room. Bloody bandages were revealing themselves through a glass shelf, almost as if they were trophies. A sense of dread crept upon Colby, not exactly liking where this was going.
Suddenly, a light but firm hand landed on Colby's shoulder, spooking him slightly as his body jolted and his head whipped toward the figure. "So, whatcha think?" Asked Jake, grinning goofily as he looked around the room proudly, not sparing Colby a glance. Colby bit his lip, turning toward the room and shrugging.
"It's..." Colby's eyes glanced at a new item, one that he hadn't seen before. A bloody bandana laid limply in a small, glass box. "...Cool?" Colby suggested unsurely, smiling nervously as he made eye contact with Jake. Jake chuckled, looking over at the blood bandages as well, understanding the reason for Colby's tiny discomfort.
Jake sighed, taking his hand off Colby's shoulder and walking toward the glass box, where the bandana lay. Colby's heart thumped against his chest, not understanding the rush of anxiety going through him. Why did he feel so attached to the bloody item? Why did it scare him so much? Colby followed Jake hesitantly, standing beside him with a sigh. "This is one of our enemies' items," Jake stated, looking down at the bo as memories flooded through him.
Cries, pleads, screams, shouts, blood, bodies, Sa-
Colby's brows furrowed, looking down at the box in confusion as the anxiety slowly drifted away, but still lingered. "Why did you keep a bloody item?" Colby piped up, his tone surprisingly serious. Jake cleared his throat, looking down at the box as he tried to keep his composure.
Blond, brunette, cries, screams, shouts, murder.
MURDER.
Jake shrugged, looking down once more before speaking up, "I don't know." Turning on his heel, Jake slowly started to walk away. Colby couldn't help but keep his eyes on the bloody bandana, feeling as if something was wrong. With a gulp, Colby shook his head and walked away, following Jake.

"C'mon! This sucks ass!" Colby complained with an annoyed huff, watching set up multiple figures, also known as training dummies. Jake didn't reply, continuing to work on the mannequins, firing the wires. "Why the fuck are there wires, anyway? It's not like they're gonna explode... right?" Jake let a small chuckle slip from his lips, looking at Colby genuinely.
"No, they won't explode. I'll explain later." Jake offered him a trusting smile, which Colby was hesitant with. Colby didn't trust the others fully yet, especially that Sam kid. Something was off with him. Colby felt it.
Moments later, the dummies were all set up by the talented hands of Jake. "Alright! I'm going to go get Sam so he can teach-"
"What?!" Colby's eyes were wide, his shout filling the room as nervousness seeped through him. Jake furrowed his brows, looking at Colby intently with his head titled, confused. "No, no, not him. What about... Brennen? Or Corey?" Colby offered with a nervous smile, feeling his body heat rise as his heart fluttered; and he didn't know why.
"Sorry, dude. Brennen's busy and so is everyone else. Sam's the best at this anyway, he'll teach you well." Jake reassured. Colby gulped, taking a moment to process. With one last sigh, Colby nodded.
"Whatever."
Jake smiled, nodding. "You'll be fine. He's a sweetheart, bro."
And with that, Jake left the room, leaving Colby alone with his thoughts. Colby grumbled, rolling his eyes at the memory of Sam. He hated Sam, and he knew that Sam hated him too. Suddenly, loud footsteps echoed off the walls, making Colby aware that the blonde was on his way. The door opened slowly, Colby crossing his arms and looking at it, watching it.
Sam was soon revealed.
Except, for some reason, his shirt was off.
There were toned abs surrounding his body, his chest perfect as his biceps were huge for his arms. "Hey, kid." The blonde offered, smiling welcomingly as he walked over to him, ruffling the brunette's hair.
"Only Brennen can call me that, plus I'm probably older," Colby mumbled, feeling the heat rise in his cheeks as there was a tinge of embarrassment leaking through his emotions. Sam chuckled, looking down at Colby.
"Sure you are."
"I'm seventeen."
"Eighteen."
Colby rolled his eyes, covering his chest with his arms as they were crossed. "So, you ready?" Asked Sam, gesturing over to the boxing gloves. Colby sighed, nodding slowly with a glare.
"Let's just get this shit over with..."

"You're fine! You're fine! Just dodge!" Sam shouted, watching the brunette dodge by an inch. Colby was panting and heaving, dodging the dummies with all he had left as they were extremely powerful. "C'mon, do better than that, kid! Swing!"
"I'm trying, you prick! This is fuckin' hell!" Colby shouted back angrily, hiding his exhaustion. He swung with his fist, missing miserably as the dummy attacked his side, throwing him off balance. Colby fell to the floor with a groan, clutching his side. Sam sighed, turning off the dummy as he walked over to Colby slowly, checking up on the brunette.
"You alright, kid?"
"Don't call me that."
Sam smiled, knowing the brunette was alright. Colby sat up with a groan, looking over at Sam. The blonde ruffled his hair before standing up and getting ready for the fifth round. "Alright, drink some water and get back to training. I'll give you a minute break." Colby got up, grabbed his water, and gulped it down. Exhaling, Colby wiped his mouth off, getting rid of the access water and putting his water down.
"This training is going to kill me..." Colby muttered, getting ready for round five.
