It was a peaceful day on a unknown world in a unknown solar system. The race on the planet was human but early in their technology, resembling times before the Golden Age of Technology.
Today on the the world it was cloudy with the air being cool. People were going about there morning, getting ready to go to work, eating breakfast, etc. As the residents were doing their own thing, all of a sudden the clouds disappeared and the rays of the sun lit up the grounds. People looked up and froze, some from fear, some from disbelief, and some from excitement.
Every one was looking up and they all saw the same things....ships......huge.....ships in the sky, no in space. Big ships of metal, it looked to be a black color with red lining but it was hard to make out it the sky. People started to look around and at each other hoping maybe they were seeing things but the ships were still there.
All over the world people were seeing these ships and talking to each other on what it could mean. All of a sudden the ships began to move, people started to panic, they thought to themselves, this is it, an alien evasion.
However the ships weren't moving towards the planet but rather around it almost making a grid pattern. The leaders of the world tried to talk to their residents but it fell on deaf ears.
As the leaders were telling people they should go indoors, and the police and military of the planet began enforcing what the leaders said meteors began to fall to the planet out of nowhere, even in places were meteor were never seen.
Panic took hold quickly and people began to run for shelter from the meteors but as quick as they appeared they landed in a huge explosion of debris and dust.
It went quite as people looked intensely into the thick dust surrounding the meteor. It was quit large but there was very little damage to the area around it. The dust was almost gone and people could see color on the object but soon after something moved.
It looked like a door opened because soon after it opened a hand appeared on the side and soon after a humanoid figure covered in metal plating stepped out, again covered in black with red lining.
Three others stepped out, all of them looking around, one of them looked at the people hiding in a building and started to approach them. As it got closer it seemed to grow in size and when it was right by then it was bigger then the door.
He kneelt on one knee and spoke with a calm tone "Forgive me and and legion for frightening you but we have come here to protect you and your planet from danger."
"After you win will you hurt us" came from a little girl.
"No little one, we want to help you and your friends"
One of the figures by the crash sight that was holding an axe with symbols on them yelled" Hey Salamander we have confirmation on were they're coming from and it won't be long till they arrive."
