Buggy's figure came into view once he was in everyone's eyesight. "Stop clapping! No, stop! It's all wrong!" The clapping slowly dies down when he orders it. He began picking out what was wrong. Satori had a feeling she had seen him before but couldn't place her finger on it. He was odd for a pirate with clown makeup and blue hair but every pirate is different in their way. Luffy says he knew him because of the wanted poster he saw in Shells Town. "Um, uh... Binky, right?"
"Buggy." He corrects. His eyes were on the four as he hopped down from the platform. Satori grips Zoro's hand tightly since they are in the presence of a pirate with a high bounty. He probably knows who she is since every pirate wants. Zoro rubs her hand with his thumb to calm her down. He won't allow him to use her as a weapon. "Buggy the Clown. Buggy, the Flashy Fool. Buggy, the Genius Jester." Luffy is amazed that he has many names.
"I bet everyone in the East Blue knows who you are." The audience gasps when he uses the word, making the four of them confused as to what he has said. Through his smile, Buggy asks what he just said. "Just that everyone knows who you are." He moves forward and grabs Luffy's face, squishing his cheeks together with one hand. "Nose?!" He loudly exclaims. His pirate crew goes closer to the four of them as the crowd murmurs. "Are you making fun of my nose?"
"Well... I wasn't. But now that you mention it, is that thing for real?" His voice was muffled. Luffy moves his hand up to touch it, Buggy slaps it away from his face. Satori wants to make Buggy suffer for hurting Luffy but she knows she can't at the moment. "What's real is I've been scheming for months," He pushes him away, colliding next to Satori. "To steal that map from old Axe-Hand Moron..." Buggy says the last word straight to Nami's face who does not react ever. "Huh? Eh." Not getting a reaction, he walks away. "... only to find out that I was upstaged by four little nobodies who stole it from right out under my no - " He stops himself from saying the word. "No! It's in my head now. Ah!" Buggy groans and walks away.
Luffy says he isn't a nobody. "I'm Monkey D. Luffy. And I will be King of the Pirates." Satori shakes her head in disappointment because of Luffy's confidence. He really shouldn't be telling strangers his name if his dream comes true. Buggy laughs when he says that. "Oh! Now that's funny." One of his crewmates holds up a sign indicating for the audience to laugh because they do not want to face the consequences. Buggy made a motion with his hand making the audience stop laughing. It was just wrong what he was doing to innocent civilians. Forcing them to do his bidding.
"My bounty poster graces the marquee of every Marine outpost for miles." He slowly walks around the four. "And my menagerie of outcasts and freaks is the most dreaded pirate crew the East Blue has ever known." His eyes land on Satori when he says his crew is the most dreaded pirate crew in the East Blue. Buggy wants Satori to join his crew so everyone can fear him because he possesses someone who can control water and fire. "I am destined to find the One Piece. And when I do... I will be King." And of course, due to Luffy's confidence, he tells him he won't be because he will find it first.
